The OPPO A57s is now listed on OPPO Croatia’s website. The brand’s latest A-series phone for the European market has important features like a big screen, a 50-megapixel main camera, stereo speakers, and 33W fast charging.

Starting from the front, the OPPO A57s has a 6.56-inch IPS LCD screen, which offers an HD+ resolution of 1612 x 720 pixels. The handset supports a 60Hz refresh rate, 269 ppi pixel density, up to 600 nits of brightness, and Panda glass protection. According to the company, the teardrop notch display has an 89.8 percent screen-to-body ratio.

The A57s is powered by the MediaTek Helio G35 chip, 4 GB of LPDDR4x RAM, and a 5,000mAh battery that supports 33W SuperVOOC charging. It has 64 GB of internal storage and a dedicated microSD card slot. The phone runs on Android 12 OS with ColorOS 12.1 on top.

The A57s has an 8-megapixel camera on the front. Its back panel has a 50-mgeapixel main camera, a 2-megapixel mono lens, and an LED flash. The power button located on the right side of the device doubles up as a fingerprint sensor. It is packed with other features, such as dual SIM support, 4G, Wi-Fi 802.11ac, Bluetooth 5.1, GPS, NFC, a USB-C port, stereo speakers, and a 3.5mm audio jack.

After launching the OPPO A57 4G earlier this year in India and Thailand, the brand is planning to launch another device variant called the OPPO A57s. Partial specifications and pricing of the device have already been tipped.

Now, reliable tipster Sudhanshu Ambhore has leaked the complete spec sheet and renders of the smartphone. So, let’s take a look at the details.

According to Sudhanshu, the OPPO A57s will come with a 6.5-inch LCD panel with HD+ resolution (1612 x 720p) and a 60Hz refresh rate. The device will measure 163.74 x 75.03 x 7.99 mm and weigh 187g.

Under the hood, it’ll have a MediaTek Helio G35 chipset, which means that the device will offer 4G connectivity only. The SoC is complemented by 4GB of LPDDR4X RAM and 128GB of eMMC 5.1 memory. It will feature a 5,000mAh battery paired with 33W fast charging.

For optics, the device will feature a dual camera setup on the back consisting of a 50-megapixel primary sensor and a 2-megapixel secondary camera. Up front, we’ll get an 8-megapixel selfie snapper.

Other than that, the device will have an Android 12-based ColorOS 12.1 operating system, Stereo speakers, Side FPS, USB-C, 3.5mm jack, WIFI 5GHz, and Bluetooth 5.3.

Earlier this year, OPPO launched the OPPO A57 5G smartphone in China, and the brand also introduced the 4G version of the device in regions like India and Thailand. Now, a new report from Appuals suggests that the device will be heading to the European market with the addition of another model.

According to the report, OPPO is planning to soon launch the OPPO A57 along with the OPPO A57s in Europe. These devices will be available in single storage options. The A57 will come with 64GB storage while the A57s will feature 128GB storage. The OPPO A57 is said to cost EUR 169, while the OPPO A57s with 128GB storage will cost EUR 199.

Oppo is apparently gearing up to launch two new smartphones in India. The company is planning on bringing two new models within the Oppo A57 series to the region, with the A57 already being launched in certain other nations.

For those unaware, the Chinese smartphone maker had just launched the A57 5G in Thailand earlier today (27th May 2022). Although, this model’s 5G variant has been available in the brand’s home market of China since April 2022. But now, new information shared by tipster Paras Guglani has revealed that the 4G model will also be arriving in the Indian market. However, the A57 will not launch alone, as the brand is reportedly planning on releasing an A57s model in India as well.

While the A57 has been launched before, the A57s is a new entry from Oppo. The tipster also shared images of both smartphone models, which offered us a look at both A57 series version. Looking at the images, we can see that the A57 and A57s will have a similar design, with both variants having a waterdrop notch for the selfie camera on the front and a flat rear panel. The tipster further added that the A57 series will be available in two color options, including a 4GB + 64GB and 6GB + 128GB configuration.

Furthermore, the smartphones will be available in Glowing Black, Glowing Green, and Sunset Orange color options. Unfortunately, there isn’t a lot of information available for the Oppo A57s, but the A57 has already been launched. So, the base model will have a 6.56 inch FHD+ display. Under the hood, it will be equipped with a MediaTek Helio G35 SoC. The smartphone is powered by a large 5,000mAh battery pack that supports 33W fast charging.
