Earlier this year, OPPO unveiled its first tablet in the market, dubbed the OPPO Pad, packing 6GB of RAM and 128GB of internal storage for the price of 2,299 yuan.
Now, the company has launched a new version of the OPPO Pad that packs 8GB of RAM and 128GB of internal storage for 2,499 yuan (~$372) but is available for pre-order in China at a discounted price of 2,299 yuan (~$342).
The OPPO Pad features an 11-inch LCD panel offering a screen resolution of 2560×1600 pixels with a pixel density of 275 PPI. There’s also a 120Hz refresh rate, a 1500:1 contrast ratio, HDR10, and P3 wide color gamut.
Under the hood, the device is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 870 processor, coupled with up to 8GB of RAM and 256GB of internal storage. In the camera department, there’s a 13MP rear camera and an 8MP front-facing snapper.
It also comes with multi-layered graphite and silicone heat dissipation system, offering a large heat dissipation area of 27413mm². The cooling solution makes sure that the device can output the best performance during long periods of heavy workflows.
The tablet runs the Android operating system with the company’s own ColorOS custom user interface on top and comes with features like four-finger pinch, two-finger split-screen, parallel windows, and multi-device cross-screen collaboration. The device is powered by an 8,360mAh battery and supports 33W fast charging.
