The Oppo Reno 15 serves as the base model in the series, delivering a compelling blend of performance and premium design. Despite being the standard option, it still brings aerospace grade aluminum frame and a shock proof design, which is coupled with an IP66 + IP68 + IP69 rating for water and dust resistance.

The design isn’t just durable, but also stands out with the HoloFusion Technology. You get a body with 3D visuals on the rear, which brings a shiny new look. Under the hood, the Reno 15 is equipped with the Snapdragon 7 Gen 4, which is coupled with up to 12GB of LPDDR5X RAM and up to 512GB of UFS 3.1 storage. A massive 6,500mAh battery pack powers this model, which supports 80W wired fast charging.

On the back, it uses a triple camera setup with a 50MP main shooter, a 50MP telephoto lens with 3.5x optical zoom, and an 8MP ultra wide angle lens. Meanwhile, the front houses a 50MP camera for selfies and video calls. Out of the box, this model runs on the Android 16 OS based ColorOS 16 custom skin. It features a taller 6.78-inch LTPO OLED display with a 1.5K resolution, 1-120Hz variable refresh rate, 3600 nits of peak brightness, and Oppo Crystal Shield Glass for protection.

This model features MediaTek’s Dimensity 8450 SoC, which is coupled with 12GB of LPDDR5X RAM and up to 512GB of UFS 3.1 storage. Oppo’s Reno 15 Pro model also runs on the Android 16 OS based ColorOS 16 custom skin out of the box. But what really stands out on this model is the advanced camera system. The rear packs a triple camera setup with a new 200MP primary shooter, a 50MP ultra wide angle lens, and a 50MP periscope telephoto shooter with a 3.5x optical zoom. For selfies, you get another 50MP camera on the front.

The massive 6,500mAh battery pack returns on the Pro with 80W wired and 50W wireless fast charging support. Other notable features include an IP66 + IP68 + IP69 rating, stereo speakers, an IR blaster, an in-display fingerprint scanner, WiFi 6, and Bluetooth 5.4.

We’re going to see many exciting launches from major Chinese brands, including Xiaomi, Realme, Oppo, OnePlus, and Honor. Thankfully, we don’t have to wait until the launch for the details, as we already know most of them through brand teasers and leaks. So, let’s take a closer look at the upcoming phones, along with all the details we know so far.

1. Oppo Reno 15 series

Launch date: January 8, 2026

Oppo Reno 15 series will launch in India on January 8, featuring three models: Reno 15, Reno 15 Pro, and Reno 15 Pro Mini. All three models are confirmed to feature Aerospace-Grade Aluminium frames and Oppo’s HoloFusion technology. The latter offers a 3D layered visual effect to the glass back.

The 15 Pro model has a 6.78-inch AMOLED display with Corning’s Gorilla Glass Victus 2 protection. The 15 Pro Mini features a 6.32-inch AMOLED display, while the standard 15 sits in the middle with a 6.59-inch AMOLED display. Both have Gorilla Glass 7i coating. All three models have IP66 + IP68 + IP69 ratings in common.

The standard Reno 15 is reportedly priced under Rs. 50,000, while the Pro Mini model may be offered for under Rs. 40,000. The Reno 15 Pro could have a price tag above Rs. 50,000.

2. Poco M8 series

Launch date: January 8, 2026

On the same day, Poco will unveil its Poco M8 series in India, featuring two models: Poco M8 5G and Poco M8 Pro 5G. The phones will be sold via Flipkart.

The Poco M8 is confirmed to feature a Snapdragon 6 Gen 3 chipset paired with 8GB RAM, achieving over 825,000 points on the AnTuTu V11 benchmark. Sadly, it will come with Android 15-based HyperOS 2, not HyperOS 3, although the brand promises a quicker rollout. On the plus side, Poco guarantees 4 years of OS upgrades, along with 6 years of security updates for the standard M8.

The Poco M8 Pro will reportedly feature a Snapdragon 7s Gen 2 chipset, a 50MP + 8MP dual rear camera, a 32MP selfie camera, and a 6,500mAh battery with 100W fast wired charging. It may also come with HyperOS 2 software, based on Android 15.

3. OnePlus Turbo 6 series

Launch date: January 8, 2026

OnePlus has also locked in the same date for the launch of its flagship-grade OnePlus Turbo 6 series. However, it will debut in China and will likely launch with a different name for the rest of the world.

The lineup comprises OnePlus Turbo 6 and Turbo 6V. The former is confirmed to pack a Snapdragon 8s Gen 4 chipset, a 1.5K resolution display with support for a 165Hz refresh rate.

The highlight of the Turbo 6 series is the battery capacity. The Turbo 6 packs a massive 9,000mAh battery, while the Turbo 6V will arrive with a smaller but still powerful 7,000mAh battery.

The OnePlus 6V is confirmed to feature a Snapdragon 7s Gen 4 processor and a 6.8-inch OLED display with a 144Hz refresh rate.

Rumors are that the OnePlus Turbo 6 could launch outside China as the Nord 6.

4. Honor Power 2

Launch date: January 5, 2026

The Honor Power 2 debuted earlier this week as the first smartphone launch of 2026. Like the OnePlus Turbo 6 series, it’s also in the news for bringing a massive 10,080mAh battery, with support for 80W fast wired charging and 27W reverse charging.

The smartphone features a 6.79-inch AMOLED display with a peak brightness of 8,000 nits and a 120Hz refresh rate. At its core is the Dimensity 8500 Elite chipset, paired with 12GB of RAM and up to 512GB of storage. The rear camera module features a 50MP primary camera and a 5MP ultrawide camera, along with a 16MP selfie shooter.

Honor Power 2 has been launched in China, where it sells for 2,699 CNY (around Rs. 34,900) for the 12GB + 512GB variant, and goes up to 2,999 CNY (around Rs. 38,700) for the 12GB + 512GB variant. The brand hasn’t confirmed its global availability yet.

5. Realme 16 Pro series

Launch date: January 6, 2026

The Realme 16 Pro series has been launched in India, increasing the brand’s mid-range portfolio with two more devices: Realme 16 Pro 5G and Realme 16 Pro+ 5G.

The 16 Pro has a 6.78-inch AMOLED screen with a 144Hz refresh rate, 6500nits peak brightness, and HDR10+ support. The Pro+ model features a slightly larger 6.8-inch screen, while the rest of the display specifications remain largely unchanged. Both phones come with Android 16-based Realme UI 7.0 skin and promise up to three major Android upgrades.

There’s Dimensity 7300 Max powering the Realme 16 Pro, whereas the 16 Pro+ has a Snapdragon 7 Gen 4 chipset. The latter also gets an additional 50MP periscope telephoto camera, in addition to a 200MP primary shooter and an 8MP ultrawide unit. Both phones, however, have the same 50MP selfie camera.

Both smartphones carry the same 7,000mAh battery capacity with support for 80W wired charging and a bypass charging feature. As for the pricing, the Realme 16 Pro starts at Rs. 31,999 and the Realme 16 Pro+ starts at Rs. 39,999.

6. Redmi Note 15 5G

Launch date: January 6, 2026

Alongside the Realme 16 Pro series, Xiaomi also unveiled the more affordable Redmi Note 15 in India, with a starting price of Rs. 22,999. The smartphone features a 6.77-inch AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate and 3200nits of peak brightness.

The Redmi Note 15 5G is powered by a Snapdragon 6 Gen 3 chipset, paired with 8GB RAM and 128/256GB storage, further expandable up to 1TB with a microSD card. Furthermore, it offers a 108MP primary camera on the back, paired with an 8MP ultrawide camera. On the other side, it has a 20MP selfie camera. Additionally, the Note 15 packs a 5,220mAh battery with support for 45W fast wired charging.

Oppo’s PureTone Technology plays a key role here, balancing the subject with surrounding light and colour instead of aggressively isolating faces. The idea is to keep images clean and vivid without making them look artificial, even when lighting conditions change.

Supporting the main sensor is a 50-megapixel 3.5x telephoto portrait camera, close to the classic 85mm focal length. This lens helps maintain natural facial proportions while adding gentle background compression, making it suitable for both portraits and distant subjects. A 50-megapixel ultra-wide camera with a 100-degree field of view completes the setup, handling landscapes, architecture and group shots while keeping colour and exposure consistent across the frame. Just ahead of the launch, tipster Abhisek Yadav has shared the complete specifications of the Reno 15, Reno 15 Pro, and Reno 15 Pro Mini on X. Starting with the standard Reno 15, the phone is said to feature a 6.59-inch 1.5K LTPS OLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate and up to 1,200 nits of brightness in high brightness mode.

Powering the device is Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 7 Gen 4 chipset, paired with 8GB or 12GB of RAM and 256GB or 512GB of storage. On the camera side, the Reno 15 reportedly includes a 50MP main sensor, an 8MP ultrawide, and a 50MP 3.5x telephoto for portraits.

There’s also a 50MP wide camera on the front. Keeping the lights on is a 6,500mAh battery that supports 80W fast charging, all packed into a body that’s under 8mm thick.

Instead of Qualcomm, Oppo is reportedly using MediaTek’s Dimensity 8450 chipset here. Despite its smaller size, the phone is said to pack a 6,200mAh battery with 80W fast charging.

The Geekbench listings show that both the Reno 15 Pro Max and the Reno 15 Pro are powered by the Dimensity 8450 chipset. While the chip’s name is not directly mentioned in the listings, the CPU and GPU details (via metadata) suggest that both models use the same processor, which also powers the Reno 14 Pro.

The listings further reveal 12GB of RAM and Android 16. The Reno 15 Pro Max scored 1,596 in the single-core test and 6,124 in the multi-core test. Meanwhile, the Reno 15 Pro recorded scores of 1,620 and 6,140 in the single-core and multi-core tests, respectively.

The Chinese tech giant is reportedly working on a new Reno 15 series phone that could be the first of its kind. In a new report from 91Mobiles, the Reno 15 Pro Mini model is in the works. Industry sources close to the matter have revealed that the brand is working on a smartphone with Reno’s premium design and a relatively compact screen. It will reportedly sport a 6.32-inch AMOLED screen with bezels that might be 1.6mm thin.

We also get some details regarding its design. The Reno 15 Pro Mini could measure just 187 grams heavy and measure 7.99mm thick. The report further adds that this model could launch in a Glacier White color option with a ribbon design, similar to the Reno 15 Pro model. So we can also expect a glass back panel and a rugged design that likely offers an IP66 + IP67 + IP69 rating for water and dust resistance.

As of right now, finer details like its release timeline or hardware are still unknown. Earlier this month, Oppo unveiled the Reno 15 and Reno 15 Pro in China. Next, the brand will announce the Reno 15c in the home market. For the global market, the Reno 15 series will include as many as four models. Here’s a look at their names and associated model numbers.

Global Oppo Reno 15 series models

The Reno 15 series for the global market will include the following models, along with their model numbers:

• Reno 15 (CPH2825)
• Reno 15F (CPH2801)
• Reno 15 Pro (CPH2813)
• Reno 15 Pro Max (CPH2811)

The above screenshots show that Thailand’s NBTC has approved the Reno 15, Reno 15 Pro, and Reno 15 Pro Max. The NBTC has yet to approve the Reno 15F.

Europe’s EEC, the UAE’s TDRA (above screenshot), and TUV certification platforms have already approved the Reno 15, 15F, and 15 Pro, but they have yet to approve the 15 Pro Max. The TDRA certification revealed that these devices will support 80W wired charging.

Coming to India, the above screenshot shows that the BIS has approved all four Reno 15 models. However, it is unclear whether the Reno 15F will carry the same marketing name in India.

The Indonesian TKDN listing has revealed the Reno 15F, whereas Singapore’s IMDA certification platform lists all three models, but it has yet to approve the Reno 15 Pro Max.

The above certifications also suggest that not all four variants will be available in all regions. The certifications also indicate that not every model will launch in every market.

China’s Reno 15 series

If you stack the current national subsidy, the base Reno15 can go as low as 2654 yuan.

The regular Reno15 keeps things compact with a 6.32-inch flat display, yet packs a 6200 mAh battery — huge considering the compact size. Oppo is also using a unibody cold-carved glass design here, with colors like Honey Gold, Canelé Brown, and Aurora Blue.

The headline spec of both the base and pro model, of course, is the 200MP, 1/1.56″ main camera. It’s paired with a 50MP, 3.5x telephoto, a 50MP ultra-wide, and a 50MP selfie camera — a surprisingly stacked setup for a non-Pro model. Under the hood, both phones include MediaTek’s new Dimensity 8450 chip, and charging tops out at 80W wired.

For those wondering, the Reno15 Pro differentiates itself with a larger 6.78-inch screen, a 6500 mAh battery (instead of 6,200 on the compact model), and the addition of 50W wireless charging. It also supports bypass charging — basically, the phone runs off the adapter directly instead of cycling through the battery. Handy for gaming sessions.

Oppo has officially unveiled new smartphones from its popular Reno lineup. The latest models include the Reno 15 and Reno 15 Pro, which bring various improvements and upgrades over their predecessors. Both models feature quite similar specs and features, so here are all the details.

Design & Display

The duo appear quite similar to one another with a flat rear panel and metallic frame. The back also has an iPhone 16 Pro-like camera module that houses three image sensors. Oppo offers its Nano Ice Crystal Heat Dissipation along with an IP66 + IP68 + IP69 rating for robust protection against the elements. One of the notable aspects for both models is the use of holographic lithography that adds a unique shine and patterns on the glass panel at the back.

While the Reno 15 Pro only has a single version with this feature, the Reno 15 has both the Starlight and Aurora Blue options. The latter measures just 7.65mm thick and weighs around 205 grams, with the former measuring slightly thicker (7.99mm) but with a lower heft (188 grams)

Moving to the front, the standard Reno 15 sports a 6.32-inch flat OLED display with a 1.5K resolution, a 120Hz refresh rate, a 240Hz touch sampling rate, 3840Hz PWM dimming, Oppo’s Crystal Shield Glass for protection, and up to 3600 nits of peak brightness.

This display size technically makes it a compact mid range phone. Meanwhile, the higher end Pro variant has a taller 6.78-inch OLED panel with similar display specs. However, there is a 1-120Hz variable refresh rate and a lower 2160Hz PWM dimming support.

Under the hood, both models in the Reno 15 series are equipped with the MediaTek Dimensity 8450 SoC that is coupled with up to 16GB of LPDDR5X RAM and 1TB of UFS 3.1 storage. Despite their sub-8mm bodies, the Reno 15 lineup offers impressively large battery capacities. Although, this is now the new standard for smartphones from Chinese brands.

Oppo unveiled the Reno 13 series on January 7, 2025, globally. Before it went official, the Reno 13 and 13F models were approved by the UAE’s TDRA authority in December 2024, whereas the Pro model was spotted by the end of November. In a new development, the Reno 15 Pro’s global version has been spotted at the TDRA, revealing the moniker and associated model number for the first time. The early appearance is a good hint that the Reno 15 series may get an early launch, possibly as early as the end of this year.

Oppo Reno 15 Pro 5G TDRA certified

As seen above, the screenshot reveals that the Reno 15 Pro 5G bearing the model number CPH2813 has been approved by the TDRA certification platform. Unfortunately, the TDRA listing has no information about its specifications.

According to TheTechOutlook, the Reno 15 Pro 5G has also appeared on other certification platforms like India’s BIS and Europe’s EEC. Its appearance in the NBD import/export database reveals that it may feature a 6.57-inch display and could be available in 12GB+256GB and 12GB+512GB variants.

Ideally, the Reno 15 Pro heading to the global market should pack the same specs as its Chinese edition. However, the 6.57-inch display size seen above for the Reno 15 Pro’s global version is a bit of a surprise because the Chinese edition is expected to pack a bigger 6.78-inch display. Therefore, it is advisable to wait for further reports to know more about the Reno 15 Pro’s global version.

Oppo Reno 15 Pro 5G specifications (rumored)

Recent reports have revealed that the Oppo Reno 15 Pro 5G heading to China has a 6.78-inch flat OLED 1.5K 120Hz screen, a Dimensity 8450 chipset, and a 6,300mAh battery with 80W wired and 50W wireless charging support. The device will also feature a 50-megapixel front camera, a 200-megapixel (main, OIS) + 50-megapixel + 50-megapixel triple camera unit, and ColorOS 16-based Android 16.

The Reno 15 Pro and Reno 15 will be unveiled on Nov. 17 in China. The lineup is also said to be include a third model dubbed the Reno 15c, which may debut a bit later.

Reliable Chinese tech bloggers like Digital Chat Station and Experience have revealed the existence of the Oppo Reno 15c, but they haven’t revealed any of its technical details. It appears that the Reno 15c may be launched separately after the standard and Pro models.

The Reno series is said to have three models with screen size options such as 6.32-inch, 6.59-inch, and 6.78-inch. The names of the 6.32-inch and 6.78-inch models were revealed as Reno 15 and Reno 15 Pro through the recently spotted China Telecom listings. 

So, the device that remains nameless so far is the 6.59-inch model. It would be a bit odd for this device to sport the Oppo Reno 15c moniker. Therefore, it is advisable to wait for further reports for clarity about the Reno 15 devices’ names and their display sizes.

Oppo Reno 15 Pro full specs leak

There has been some confusion about the Reno 15 Pro’s battery size and its front camera. A previous report claimed a 6,300mAh battery size and a 32-megapixel front camera. But this rumour has been debunked, with the above-mentioned tipster claiming a battery size of 6,500mAh. For selfies, it will feature a 50-megapixel front-facing camera.

But we are not sure whether this will be a full product launch or simply an announcement of a future event date. The teaser doesn’t mention an event start time, which we usually see for full-scale launches, suggesting this might just be an announcement for the actual unveiling later on.

Speaking of which, another leak from earlier this week points to November 17th as a possible launch date for the Reno 15 lineup.

Meanwhile, tipster Digital Chat Station has shared an image of the Reno 15’s camera design on Weibo. It still features a squircle module housing three lenses and a flash, similar to its predecessor.

Both the standard and Pro versions are said to offer four high-resolution cameras in total, with a 200-megapixel main camera taking the spotlight. The tipster adds that both models support simultaneous front and rear live-streaming, and there’s talk of an “amazing feature” designed specifically for live shooting.

As for the specs, the regular Oppo Reno 15 is said to feature a 6.32-inch 1.5K flat display framed in metal, powered by MediaTek’s Dimensity 8450 processor.

One of these devices has now surfaced on Geekbench, revealing key details such as its chipset, RAM, and OS version.

As shown above, an upcoming Oppo smartphone with the model number PLV110 has appeared in Geekbench’s database. The listing reveals that it is powered by the Dimensity 8450, paired with 16GB of RAM, and runs on Android 16.

Although the chipset’s name is not explicitly mentioned, the CPU and GPU (via source code) details are sufficient to conclude that it is powered by the D8450, which also powered the Oppo Reno 14 Pro. In the single-core and multi-core tests, the device scored 1,668 and 6,274 points, respectively.

At present, it is unclear which of the three Reno 15 models the PLV110 model number belongs to. Recent reports have claimed that the Reno 15 Mini and Reno 15 Pro will feature the D8450 chipset. Therefore, it remains to be seen whether the standard Reno 15 will also have the same chip.

In terms of specs, the Reno 15, 15 Pro, and 15 Mini are said to be equipped with 6.59-inch, 6.78-inch, and 6.31-inch displays, respectively. While all three are expected to run on ColorOS 16-based Android 16, the other specs of the standard model remain under wraps.

The major upgrade is expected to be seen in the camera department as it is said to be equipped with a 200-megapixel main camera, a 50-megapixel ultra-wide lens, and a 50-megapixel periscope telephoto camera. For selfies, it will have a 32-megapixel front-facing camera. To recall, the Reno 14 Pro featured a triple 50-megapixel camera setup on the back and a 50-megapixel front-facing camera.

The Reno 15 Pro will arrive with a 6.78-inch flat OLED panel that offers a 1.5K resolution and a 144Hz refresh rate. It will run on ColorOS 16-based Android 16 and will be powered by the Dimensity 8450 chipset. Multiple Dimensity 8500 phones are in the works

According to the tipster, some phone brands are developing well-rounded “all-rounder” phones using the upcoming Dimensity 8500, while others are focusing on camera-centric models featuring a 200-megapixel sensor and even a periscope lens in engineering prototypes. Additionally, there are brands working on devices designed for extremely long battery life, reportedly offering up to 10,000mAh capacity.

So far, reports have revealed that Redmi, Honor, and Realme are working on Dimensity 8500-powered phones. These include the Redmi Turbo 5, Honor Power 2, and a Realme Neo 8 series phone, respectively. Among these, the Honor Power 2 is expected to house a 10,000mAh battery.

As can be seen above, the tipster has used the Oppo Reno 15 hashtag, indicating that the series will feature a D8500-powered device. Likely, the Reno 15 Pro / Pro+ model could be equipped with the D8500. Rumors are rife that the Reno 15 series will debut in November this year in China. Therefore, it appears that the Reno 15 Pro / Pro+ could be the first phone to feature the said chipset.

Speaking of the Reno 15 series, recent reports suggest that the lineup will include three models, featuring display sizes of 6.3 inches, 6.59 inches, and 6.78 inches. The 6.3-inch model is expected to come with a 1.5K LTPS OLED display and a periscope camera.

The 6.59-inch variant will reportedly feature a 1.5K LTPS OLED screen, along with a 200-megapixel Samsung HP5 main camera and a periscope lens. Meanwhile, the 6.78-inch model is said to boast a 1.5K LTPO OLED display, paired with a 200-megapixel Samsung HP5 main sensor and a periscope camera. The final marketing names of these models are not known yet.

Oppo refreshes its Reno series twice a year. The Reno 14 series debuted back in May, and it looks like the Reno 15 series is set to arrive in late November or December. Now, thanks to tipster Digital Chat Station, we’re getting our first look at what Oppo has planned.

According to the leak, the Reno 15 family will again be split into three models. The names aren’t confirmed, but based on the details, we can expect a standard Reno 15, a Reno 15 Pro, and a new top-end Reno 15 Pro+. The Pro+ would be the first of its kind in the Reno lineup.

Oppo Reno 15 Series Specifications (Expected)

Each phone features a slightly different screen size, but all maintain a sharp 1.5K resolution. The regular Reno 15 reportedly features a 6.59-inch LTPS panel, while the Pro drops down to 6.31 inches with the same LTPS technology, and the Pro+ stretches out to 6.78 inches, utilizing LTPO for smoother refresh rates and improved power efficiency.

All models also reportedly share a few design touches. The three phones are said to have a 2.5D straight screen, a metal frame, and the same one-piece cold-carved glass design carried over from the Reno 14 series.

As for cameras, both the Reno 15 Pro and Pro+ are expected to pack a massive 200-megapixel main sensor, while all three models will include a 50-megapixel periscope telephoto lens for zoom shots.

Of course, there’s still plenty we don’t know, including processors, charging speeds, and pricing. More details are likely to leak as the launch gets closer.

The official debut is expected before the end of 2025, so we won’t have to wait too long to see how much of this leak actually makes it into the final devices.

Since the Reno 11 lineup, which debuted in November 2023, the Reno range has consistently featured a standard and a Pro version in China. However, a new leak suggests that the upcoming Reno 15 series will include three models.

Oppo Reno 15 series may include three models

To recap, the Reno 13 and Reno 14 series offered a standard model with a 6.59-inch screen and a Pro edition with a 6.83-inch display. The first Reno 15 leak, shared by tipster Digital Chat Station in June, indicated that Oppo was considering a standard variant with a 6.3-inch display and a Pro version with a 6.78-inch panel. The latest update from the same source now reveals that a 6.59-inch option has also been added to the lineup.

According to DCS, Oppo is currently testing three display sizes for the Reno 15 series – 6.3-inch, 6.59-inch, and around 6.78-inch. This suggests that a new “mid cup” model will join the small and large versions. All three prototypes are said to feature flat displays.

There is currently no confirmed information about the chipset and other hardware details of the 6.59-inch edition. Recent reports, however, claim that the Reno 15 Pro with a 6.78-inch display could be powered by the Dimensity 8450. Its camera setup may include a 200-megapixel Samsung HP5 primary sensor, an ultra-wide lens, and a 50-megapixel periscope telephoto camera. Both the 6.3-inch and 6.78-inch models are rumored to feature a metal middle frame and wireless charging support, while the 6.3-inch variant is also expected to include a periscope telephoto camera.

The Reno 15 series is expected to launch in November in China with ColorOS 16 based on Android 16. Before the Reno 15 lineup, the brand is expected to announce the Find X9 series in October in China.

Increased demand for compact smartphones

Demand for compact flagships with 6.3-inch screens has been strong in China. Last year, Vivo launched the X200 Pro Mini, and this year, OnePlus unveiled the 13T with a compact display. This year, while Oppo launched the Find X8s with a 6.32-inch screen, Vivo also introduced the S30 with a 6.3-inch panel. Reports further suggest that the Xiaomi 16 series will also include a 6.3-inch option in addition to the standard Xiaomi 16 and 16 Pro. The Vivo X300 is expected to continue the trend, and Oppo, along with Honor are reportedly preparing Dimensity 9500-powered compact flagships for the first half of 2026.

If the latest leaks from Digital Chat Station are anything to go by, Oppo’s Reno15 lineup might be more than just your usual spec bump. According to the tipster, both the Reno15 and Reno15 Pro are being tested with a 200-megapixel main camera, up from the 50MP shooter on their predecessors.

However, details are still a little hazy. The exact sensor Oppo plans to use isn’t confirmed yet, and since it’s reportedly still in testing, anything could change. That said, both models are also tipped to pack a periscope lens. Not surprising since both the Reno 14 phones have a telephoto unit. 

Oppo Reno 15 will be a compact offering

Display sizes are getting a tweak, too. The standard Reno 15 is rumored to feature a 6.3-inch flat panel, which means it’s going to be a compact phone. In contrast, the Reno 14 is a fairly big slab with a 6.59-inch display. 

The Pro variant also seems to be trimming its screen size a little. It’s expected to have a 6.78-inch screen versus 6.83 inches on its predecessor. Both are expected to be framed in metal and have support for wireless charging. 

But here’s where it gets more interesting. Oppo is apparently toying with the idea of bringing a new flagship-tier hardware platform to the series this year. No word yet on what exactly that means. A flagship tier silicon? A next-gen imaging chip? We’ll have to wait and see, but we are definitely curious.

As for the launch, there’s no official timeline yet, and you shouldn’t expect it to happen anytime soon. The Reno 14 and 14 Pro have just made their official debut globally, so it will be too soon to expect their successors. However, if testing is already in progress, don’t be surprised if more details start leaking out soon.
