<p><a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/category/realme">Realme</a> will unveil the Realme GT 7 in China later this month. The brand has already confirmed that it will feature the Dimensity 9400 Plus chipset. A new development reveals that the brand is also working on a new Neo 7-branded phone. Here’s a look at the initial details about the device.</p>

<h3><strong>Realme Neo 7 Pro: What to expect?</strong></h3>

<div class="wp-block-image"><figure class="aligncenter size-full"><img loading="lazy" width="969" height="153" src="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/04/image-81.png?x10805" alt="" class="wp-image-681318" srcset="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/04/image-81.png 969w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/04/image-81-300x47.png 300w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/04/image-81-768x121.png 768w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/04/image-81-696x110.png 696w" sizes="(max-width: 969px) 100vw, 969px" /><figcaption>Alleged Realme Neo 7 Pro to debut in May</figcaption></figure></div>

<p>Realme has already launched the <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/product/realme-neo-7/">Realme Neo 7</a>, <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/product/realme-neo-7-se/">Neo 7 SE</a>, and <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/product/realme-neo-7x-5g/">Realme Neo 7x</a> smartphones in China. These devices are equipped with the Dimensity 9300 Plus, Dimensity 8400, and Snapdragon 6 Gen 4 chipsets, respectively. As can be seen above, reliable tipster Digital Chat Station has claimed that the brand is working on a fourth Neo 7-series phone. While the name of the device has not been disclosed, it is likely that the brand may call it the Realme Neo 7 Pro.</p>

<p>The tipster added that the alleged Neo 7 Pro will feature the upcoming <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/tag/dimensity-9400e">Dimensity 9400e</a> and will debut in May. He did not reveal anything else about the device. In a newer Weibo post, the tipster is seen talking about the <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/product/oneplus-ace-5s/">OnePlus Ace 5s</a> and <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/product/oneplus-ace-5v/">Ace 5V</a> coming with Dimensity 9400+ and 9400e chipsets <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/2025/04/10/oneplus-ace-5v-with-dimensity-9400e-set-for-may-antutu-score-tipped/">launching in May in China</a>.</p>

<p>About the Dimensity 9400e’s performance, the tipster claims that the chipset is a minor upgrade with custom-tuned cores as compared to the existing Dimensity 9400 chip. Nevertheless, the new chip can offer better performance than the recently unveiled Qualcomm Snapdragon 8s Gen 4 chip by achieving 2.1M points on AnTuTu and hitting around 95fps in the Aztec 1440p graphics test.</p>

<p>This indicates that the Realme Neo 7 Pro is designed to rival upcoming <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/tag/snapdragon-8-gen-4/">Snapdragon 8s Gen 4</a> and Dimensity 9400e phones. Therefore, apart from rivaling the D9400e-powered OnePlus Ace 5V, the Neo 7 Pro will <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/2025/04/03/iqoo-z10-turbo-pro-to-launch-as-first-snapdragon-8s-gen-4-phone-redmi-turbo-4-pro-oppo-k13-pro-to-follow/">compete with SD8sG4 phones</a>, such as the <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/product/iqoo-z10-turbo-pro/">iQOO Z10 Turbo Pro</a> and <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/product/xiaomi-redmi-turbo-4-pro">Redmi Turbo 4 Pro</a>.</p>

<p>In December 2024, <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/category/realme">Realme</a> unveiled the Realme Neo 7 SE, equipped with the Dimensity 9300+ and a 7,000mAh battery. Rumor has it that Realme will launch the Realme Neo 7 SE with the Dimensity 8400-Max in the domestic market in February. Like the Neo 7, the SE edition is expected to pack a 7,000mAh battery. A new leak suggests that the Neo 7 series may include a couple of more models. Rumors suggest that one of them may likely carry the Realme Neo 7 Pro moniker.</p>

<h2><strong>Key specifications of upcoming Realme Neo 7 series phones leaked</strong></h2>

<div class="wp-block-image"><figure class="aligncenter size-large"><img loading="lazy" width="1024" height="412" src="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/01/image-39-1024x412.png?x10805" alt="" class="wp-image-667918" srcset="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/01/image-39-1024x412.png 1024w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/01/image-39-300x121.png 300w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/01/image-39-768x309.png 768w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/01/image-39-696x280.png 696w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/01/image-39-1068x429.png 1068w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/01/image-39-1045x420.png 1045w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/01/image-39.png 1239w" sizes="(max-width: 1024px) 100vw, 1024px" /></figure></div>

<p>In a recent Weibo post, reliable leaker Digital Chat Station revealed the specifications of two upcoming Realme phones that may launch following <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/2025/01/09/realme-neo-7-se-images-leaked-via-miit-certification/">the Neo 7 SE</a>. According to the leak, one of these devices will feature a quad-curved OLED panel with equal-sized bezels and a 1.5K resolution. It is expected to be powered by the <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/tag/snapdragon-8-elite">Snapdragon 8 Elite</a> chipset. It is likely to pack a 6,500mAh battery with 120W fast charging support.</p>

<div class="wp-block-image"><figure class="aligncenter size-large"><img loading="lazy" width="1024" height="141" src="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/01/image-40-1024x141.png?x10805" alt="" class="wp-image-667919" srcset="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/01/image-40-1024x141.png 1024w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/01/image-40-300x41.png 300w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/01/image-40-768x106.png 768w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/01/image-40-696x96.png 696w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/01/image-40-1068x147.png 1068w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/01/image-40.png 1410w" sizes="(max-width: 1024px) 100vw, 1024px" /></figure></div>

<p>The second phone appears to be a larger device equipped with a flat OLED screen with support for a 1.5K resolution. Under the hood, it will house the Dimensity<a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/tag/dimensity-9400-plus"> 9400 Plus</a> chipset, 7 series models. While both phones are expected to be part of the Neo 7 lineup, one of them is likely to carry the &#8220;Neo 7 Pro&#8221; moniker. These devices are likely to debut in the second quarter of this year.</p>

<p>In related news, Realme is gearing up to launch the Realme 14 Pro series on Jan. 16 in India. However, the brand has already launched the Realme 14 Pro+ without any fanfare in China. Priced at 2,599 Yuan (~$350), the 14 Pro+ offers key specifications, such as a 6.83-inch OLED panel with a 1.5K resolution and a 120Hz refresh rate, a Snapdragon 7s Gen 3 chip, a 6,000mAh battery with 80W fast charging, a 32-megapixel front-facing camera, and a 50-megapixel (Sony IMX896, OIS) + 8-megapixel + 50-megapixel (3x periscope, OIS) triple camera system.</p>
