Realme will unveil the Realme GT 7 in China later this month. The brand has already confirmed that it will feature the Dimensity 9400 Plus chipset. A new development reveals that the brand is also working on a new Neo 7-branded phone. Here’s a look at the initial details about the device.

Realme Neo 7 Pro: What to expect?

Alleged Realme Neo 7 Pro to debut in May

Realme has already launched the Realme Neo 7, Neo 7 SE, and Realme Neo 7x smartphones in China. These devices are equipped with the Dimensity 9300 Plus, Dimensity 8400, and Snapdragon 6 Gen 4 chipsets, respectively. As can be seen above, reliable tipster Digital Chat Station has claimed that the brand is working on a fourth Neo 7-series phone. While the name of the device has not been disclosed, it is likely that the brand may call it the Realme Neo 7 Pro.

The tipster added that the alleged Neo 7 Pro will feature the upcoming Dimensity 9400e and will debut in May. He did not reveal anything else about the device. In a newer Weibo post, the tipster is seen talking about the OnePlus Ace 5s and Ace 5V coming with Dimensity 9400+ and 9400e chipsets launching in May in China.

About the Dimensity 9400e’s performance, the tipster claims that the chipset is a minor upgrade with custom-tuned cores as compared to the existing Dimensity 9400 chip. Nevertheless, the new chip can offer better performance than the recently unveiled Qualcomm Snapdragon 8s Gen 4 chip by achieving 2.1M points on AnTuTu and hitting around 95fps in the Aztec 1440p graphics test.

This indicates that the Realme Neo 7 Pro is designed to rival upcoming Snapdragon 8s Gen 4 and Dimensity 9400e phones. Therefore, apart from rivaling the D9400e-powered OnePlus Ace 5V, the Neo 7 Pro will compete with SD8sG4 phones, such as the iQOO Z10 Turbo Pro and Redmi Turbo 4 Pro.
