He claims that it is an upcoming X-series flagship phone from Realme.

Last year, Realme launched the Realme X2 mid-range and Realme X2 Pro flagship smartphone. The Chinese firm is yet to announce the Realme X3 Pro phone. The X-series flagship smartphone shown in the leaked shot could be the Realme X3 Pro.

The Realme X2 Pro that debuted in October last year came with a 90Hz refresh rate supporting display. According to the tipster, the next Realme X series flagship is equipped with a Samsung-made curved display with COP packaging technology. The screen supports a 120Hz refresh rate and has a very thin-sized bottom bezel. As it can be seen in the screenshot below, the alleged Realme X3 Pro will let users to switch between 60Hz and 120Hz refresh rates.

A Realme model bearing a different model number has now appeared on the benchmarking app GeekBench database. The device adopts the codename RMX2083 and is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 855+ chipset. This springs up confusion as to the actual configuration of the actual X3 Pro.

The Realme X3 and X3 Superzoom are both powered by a Snapdragon 855+ so, the X3 Pro may as well pack a Snapdragon 855+ chipset. However, just recently a third model with model number RMX2170 and said to be the X3 Pro was certified by TUV Rheinland. The model packs a 65W fast charge support.

Realme has already launched the X3 and X3 Superzoom a few months back. The X3 Superzoom came with a telephoto camera which supports up to 5X optical zoom. The phone equally features up to 12 GB RAM and an impressive 32 MP selfie shooter.

At the moment, the exact specifications of the model are unknown but GeekBench shows it will have 8GB of RAM and will run on Android 10 operating system. There speculations that Realme will launch the model during its maiden appearance at IFA Berlin 2020 this September.

Despite the pandemic having no end in sight, IFA Berlin, scheduled for September this year, will have an in-person event.

In the latest development, Realme has now been confirmed to attend IFA Berlin for the first time. IFA is calling this year’s event as a Special Edition, maybe because it could have invite-only 1,000 attendees at a time.

Realme India CEO Madhav Sheth also confirmed the news about the company making its debut in IFA this year. He has also teased a big announcement at the event but refrained from sharing more details.

If the reports are to be believed, then there’s a possibility that the OPPO-backed company could launch its flagship smartphone, dubbed as Realme X3 Pro. The company recently unveiled its 125W UltraDart fast charging technology, which could be present in the upcoming X3 Pro flagship smartphone.

Along with the upcoming flagship smartphone, we expect the company to launch a few other products as well. The company has also forayed into the accessories market, so there could be new accessory products coming from the brand at IFA.

Last month, the company had launched Realme X3 and X3 SuperZoom smartphones in China as well as India. The upcoming X3 Pro will complete the lineup and instead of the SD855+ SoC, the phone could pack the newly announced Snapdragon 865 Plus chipset.

The Special Edition of IFA 2020 will take place in Berlin as an in-person event from 3rd September to 5th September, despite the COVID-19 outbreak. While Samsung has pulled out of the event, brands like Huawei, LG, Qualcomm, among others are the key participants for the event.

The Realme X3 SuperZoom that debuted in China last month has an RMX2086 model number. The RMX2081 and RMX2085 seemingly belongs to the Realme X3 and Realme X3 Pro smartphones. These models have also received certification from the Bureau of Indian Standards (BIS) which indicates that the Realme X3 series could be coming soon to India. The Google Play Console listing of the Realme X3 surfaced yesterday to reveal some of its key specs. Popular tipster Mukul Sharma took to Weibo to share the key specifications of the Realme X3 smartphone.

According to Sharma, the Realme X3 borrows most of its specs from the Realme X3 SuperZoom smartphone. His leak states that the Realme X3 has a 6.6-inch IPS LCD panel that produces a Full HD+ resolution and carries support 120Hz refresh rate. The front and backside of the phone seems to be protected by Gorilla Glass 5 panels.

The Snapdragon 855+ mobile platform that fuels the X3 SuperZoom phone also powers the vanilla X3. The handset is expected to arrive in RAM options like 6 GB, 8 GB and 12 GB. It could be available in storage variants like 64 GB, 128 GB, and 256 GB.

The pill-shaped cutout on the screen of Realme X3 will house two selfie cameras. The setup includes a 16-megapixel main lens and an 8-megapixel secondary shooter.
The leak has no information on the pricing of the Realme X3 series for India. The Chinese firm may launch the X3 phones at some point in this month.

Today, the company confirmed through its Weibo handle that its upcoming unveil event will be held on May 25 at 2 PM (local time). The Chinese firm also revealed that it will be announcing 8 new products at the event.

The company did not reveal the names of the device that will go official on May 26. The launch poster shared by Realme has some clues on what to expect from the upcoming event. The image includes three items such as a smartphone, a power bank, and truly wireless earbuds. Probably, the main attraction of the event could be the Realme X3 series. The other devices that will be unleashed alongside could be accessory products. The Realme TV may also get announced at the same event.

The device posted a score of over 600,000 on AnTuTu which is an indication that it is powered by a Snapdragon 865 chipset. The model number is similar to that of the Realme X3 (RMX2141) which was certified by TENAA a few weeks ago. Realme X3 SuperZoom (RMX2086)also leaked recently packing the older Snapdragon 855+ chipset used on the X2 Pro.
