<p>Mobile gaming in 2026 has shifted its focus from peak speed to sustained survival. To combat the dimmed screens and dropped frames that plague standard smartphones during heavy sessions, manufacturers are bringing out the heavy artillery: Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 chips, massive 7,000mAh batteries, and advanced thermal management. Whether you prefer a dedicated gaming powerhouse or a traditional flagship that can hold its own, here is a look at the best gaming phones available globally in June 2026.</p>

<h3><strong>Red Magic 11S Pro</strong></h3>

<div class="wp-block-image"><figure class="aligncenter size-full"><img loading="lazy" width="960" height="745" src="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2026/05/Red-Magic-11S-Pro.webp?x44794" alt="Red Magic 11S Pro" class="wp-image-739974" srcset="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2026/05/Red-Magic-11S-Pro.webp 960w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2026/05/Red-Magic-11S-Pro-300x233.webp 300w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2026/05/Red-Magic-11S-Pro-768x596.webp 768w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2026/05/Red-Magic-11S-Pro-696x540.webp 696w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2026/05/Red-Magic-11S-Pro-541x420.webp 541w" sizes="(max-width: 960px) 100vw, 960px" /></figure></div>

<p>The <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/product/zte-nubia-redmagic-11s-pro/" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">Red Magic 11S Pro</a> is designed specifically for users who prioritize long gaming sessions and want hardware built entirely around that experience. Red Magic has focused heavily on sustained performance with this model. While it runs on the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 Leading Version processor, its ability to maintain performance relies on the AquaCore Cooling System.</p>

<p>This setup combines a physical 24,000 RPM internal fan with a fluorinated liquid cooling loop. Through the transparent back panel, you can see the non-conductive coolant being moved by ceramic micropumps. It is a complex solution, but it effectively prevents the phone from throttling under heavy workloads.</p>

<p>To support the main processor, <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/category/red-magic/" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">Red Magic</a> includes a secondary RedCore R4 chip that handles audio, haptic feedback, and visual effects, freeing up resources for the game itself. The display is a 6.85-inch 1.5K OLED panel with a 144Hz refresh rate. Because the 16-megapixel front camera is hidden beneath the display, there is no hole-punch cutout to interrupt the screen.</p>

<p>Powering the device is a large 7,500mAh battery that supports 80W wireless and wired charging, and the phone includes 520Hz capacitive shoulder triggers for physical inputs. On the software side, it runs Red Magic OS 11.5, which now integrates Google Gemini AI for real-time translation and image searches.</p>

<h3><strong>OnePlus 15</strong></h3>

<div class="wp-block-image"><figure class="aligncenter size-large"><img loading="lazy" width="1024" height="576" src="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/10/OnePlus-15-1024x576.png?x44794" alt="OnePlus 15" class="wp-image-713013" srcset="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/10/OnePlus-15-1024x576.png 1024w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/10/OnePlus-15-300x169.png 300w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/10/OnePlus-15-768x432.png 768w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/10/OnePlus-15-696x392.png 696w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/10/OnePlus-15-1068x601.png 1068w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/10/OnePlus-15-747x420.png 747w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/10/OnePlus-15.png 1200w" sizes="(max-width: 1024px) 100vw, 1024px" /></figure></div>

<p>Not everyone wants a phone with visible cooling fans and transparent back panels. The <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/product/oneplus-15/" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">OnePlus 15</a> takes a different approach, offering high-end gaming capabilities inside a standard, premium smartphone design. It uses the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 processor and pairs it with up to 16GB of RAM, but its primary gaming advantage is the display.</p>

<p>The 6.78-inch AMOLED screen features a native 165Hz refresh rate that is specifically supported by games like Call of Duty: Mobile and Brawl Stars. It also includes a dedicated touch response chip that pushes the touch sampling rate to 3200Hz for quicker input recognition.</p>

<p>Instead of a physical fan, the OnePlus 15 manages heat using a large vapor chamber and an aerospace-derived aerogel insulation layer to keep the exterior comfortable to hold. It features a 7,300mAh Silicon NanoStack battery and supports bypass charging, which allows you to power the phone directly from the wall while gaming to reduce heat and preserve battery health.</p>

<p>Unlike most gaming-focused phones, the OnePlus 15 also delivers a highly capable camera system, featuring a 50MP main sensor and a 50MP periscope telephoto lens. It is also built to last, carrying IP66, IP68, IP69, and IP69K ratings for water and dust resistance.</p>

<h3><strong>Red Magic 11 Pro</strong></h3>

<div class="wp-block-image"><figure class="aligncenter size-full"><img loading="lazy" width="872" height="509" src="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/11/RedMagic-11-Pro-global.png?x44794" alt="" class="wp-image-713748" srcset="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/11/RedMagic-11-Pro-global.png 872w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/11/RedMagic-11-Pro-global-300x175.png 300w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/11/RedMagic-11-Pro-global-768x448.png 768w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/11/RedMagic-11-Pro-global-696x406.png 696w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/11/RedMagic-11-Pro-global-720x420.png 720w" sizes="(max-width: 872px) 100vw, 872px" /></figure></div>

<p>If you want the core Red Magic experience but don&#8217;t need the overclocked processor of the new &#8220;S&#8221; variant, the <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/product/zte-nubia-red-magic-11-pro/" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">Red Magic 11 Pro</a> remains an incredible buy. Launched late last year, it still holds its own against anything released in 2026.</p>

<p>It features the standard Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 processor and can be configured with up to 24GB of RAM and 1TB of storage. The display remains the same 6.85-inch notchless OLED panel, providing an uninterrupted view of your games. To maintain frame rates during extended play, it also utilizes the AquaCore system, showcasing a visible, flowing liquid cooling loop through a transparent back, paired with a massive vapor chamber and a 24,000 RPM active cooling fan.</p>

<p>It also retains the 7,500mAh battery, the 520Hz shoulder triggers, and the dual stereo speakers found on the S-tier model. It is a highly capable device that focuses purely on the gaming experience without the extra experimental hardware.</p>

<h3><strong>Red Magic 11 Air</strong></h3>

<div class="wp-block-image"><figure class="aligncenter size-large"><img loading="lazy" width="1024" height="585" src="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2026/03/Red-Magic-11-Air-1024x585.png?x44794" alt="Red Magic 11 Air" class="wp-image-730320" srcset="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2026/03/Red-Magic-11-Air-1024x585.png 1024w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2026/03/Red-Magic-11-Air-300x171.png 300w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2026/03/Red-Magic-11-Air-768x439.png 768w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2026/03/Red-Magic-11-Air-696x398.png 696w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2026/03/Red-Magic-11-Air-1068x610.png 1068w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2026/03/Red-Magic-11-Air-735x420.png 735w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2026/03/Red-Magic-11-Air.png 1209w" sizes="(max-width: 1024px) 100vw, 1024px" /></figure></div>

<p>Gaming phones are traditionally heavy and thick to accommodate larger batteries and cooling systems. The <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/product/red-magic-11-air/" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">Red Magic 11 Air</a> attempts to balance dedicated gaming features with a more manageable form factor. It is 12% thinner and 10% lighter than the standard 11 Pro, making it much easier to use as a daily driver.</p>

<p>Despite the smaller size, Red Magic managed to fit a physical 24,000 RPM cooling fan inside, which is a notable addition to the Air lineup. It uses the Snapdragon 8 Elite processor and features a 6.85-inch 144Hz OLED display with ultra-narrow bezels. The battery is slightly smaller at 7,000mAh, but that is still larger than most standard smartphones on the market and a significant upgrade from the previous generation.</p>

<p>It also retains the physical shoulder triggers, which have been updated to support vertical games, and includes charge separation technology to keep the phone cool when plugged in. For software, it includes tools like a Tactical Coach for real-time guidance in popular multiplayer games, making it a well-rounded option for those who want gaming features in a slimmer profile.</p>

<h2>Red Magic 11S Pro Specifications</h2>

<p>Inside, the 11S Pro runs on the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 Leading Version, which reaches clock speeds up to 4.74GHz. It also includes Red Magic’s RedCore R4 chip, a dedicated processor that handles audio, haptic feedback, and visual effects to reduce the load on the main system.</p>

<p>To manage heat, Red Magic is using its updated AquaCore cooling system. This setup includes a 24,000 RPM internal fan, a 13,116 mm² vapor chamber, and a flowing fluorinated liquid cooling system. The liquid cooling circulation is visible through a transparent section on the back of the phone. The rear panel is entirely flat, lacking a camera bump, and the device carries an IPX8 rating for water resistance.</p>

<p>The front features a 6.85-inch 1.5K OLED screen with a 144Hz refresh rate and a peak brightness of 1,800 nits. Red Magic continues to use an under-display camera, utilizing a BOE X10 panel to hide the 16MP sensor and keep the screen free of notches or hole punches. The display supports a 3,000Hz instant touch sampling rate, and the phone includes 520Hz touch-responsive shoulder triggers on the side frame for gaming inputs.</p>

<div class="wp-block-image"><figure class="aligncenter size-large"><img loading="lazy" width="1024" height="640" src="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2026/05/Red-Magic-11S-Pro-1-1024x640.png?x44794" alt="Red Magic 11S Pro" class="wp-image-739975" srcset="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2026/05/Red-Magic-11S-Pro-1-1024x640.png 1024w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2026/05/Red-Magic-11S-Pro-1-300x188.png 300w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2026/05/Red-Magic-11S-Pro-1-768x480.png 768w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2026/05/Red-Magic-11S-Pro-1-696x435.png 696w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2026/05/Red-Magic-11S-Pro-1-1068x668.png 1068w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2026/05/Red-Magic-11S-Pro-1-672x420.png 672w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2026/05/Red-Magic-11S-Pro-1.png 1200w" sizes="(max-width: 1024px) 100vw, 1024px" /></figure></div>

<p>The phone is powered by a 7,500mAh battery. It supports 80W fast charging for both wired and wireless connections. It also features dual reverse charging, meaning it can charge other devices via a cable or wirelessly.</p>

<p>For photography, the rear camera system includes a 50MP main sensor with optical image stabilization and a 50MP ultrawide lens. The phone runs Red Magic OS 11.5, based on Android 16, and integrates several <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/category/google/" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">Google</a> Gemini AI tools, such as Circle to Search and real-time translation.</p>

<h3><strong>OnePlus 15</strong></h3>

<div class="wp-block-image"><figure class="aligncenter size-large"><img loading="lazy" width="1024" height="576" src="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/10/OnePlus-15-1024x576.png?x44794" alt="OnePlus 15" class="wp-image-713013" srcset="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/10/OnePlus-15-1024x576.png 1024w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/10/OnePlus-15-300x169.png 300w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/10/OnePlus-15-768x432.png 768w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/10/OnePlus-15-696x392.png 696w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/10/OnePlus-15-1068x601.png 1068w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/10/OnePlus-15-747x420.png 747w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/10/OnePlus-15.png 1200w" sizes="(max-width: 1024px) 100vw, 1024px" /></figure></div>

<p>The <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/product/oneplus-15/" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">OnePlus 15</a> is a mainstream flagship with strong gaming features. The phone uses the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 chipset, up to 16GB LPDDR5X Ultra+ RAM, and up to 1TB UFS 4.1 storage. It runs OxygenOS 16 based on Android 16, and OnePlus promises four major Android updates and six years of security patches.</p>

<p>The phone has a 6.78-inch 1.5K AMOLED LTPO display. The panel supports normal adaptive refresh rates and up to 165Hz refresh rate for gaming. <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/category/oneplus/" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">OnePlus</a> says supported games include titles such as Call of Duty: Mobile, Brawl Stars, and Clash of Clans. The phone also has a dedicated touch response chip with 3200Hz touch sampling.</p>

<p>The OnePlus 15 uses a 360-degree Cryo-Velocity Cooling System. The system includes a 5731mm² 3D vapor chamber, an aerogel insulation layer, and a graphite back cover for heat distribution.</p>

<p>The phone has a 7300mAh Silicon NanoStack battery with 120W wired charging and 50W wireless charging. It also has IP66, IP68, IP69, and IP69K ratings. The triple rear camera system includes three 50MP cameras, which makes the OnePlus 15 a more balanced phone than most gaming-first models.</p>

<h3><strong>OnePlus Ace 6 Ultra</strong></h3>

<div class="wp-block-image"><figure class="aligncenter size-large"><img loading="lazy" width="1024" height="521" src="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2026/04/OnePlus-Strix-Gaming-Controller-2-1024x521.png?x44794" alt="OnePlus Strix Gaming Controller" class="wp-image-736580" srcset="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2026/04/OnePlus-Strix-Gaming-Controller-2-1024x521.png 1024w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2026/04/OnePlus-Strix-Gaming-Controller-2-300x153.png 300w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2026/04/OnePlus-Strix-Gaming-Controller-2-768x391.png 768w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2026/04/OnePlus-Strix-Gaming-Controller-2-696x354.png 696w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2026/04/OnePlus-Strix-Gaming-Controller-2-1068x544.png 1068w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2026/04/OnePlus-Strix-Gaming-Controller-2-825x420.png 825w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2026/04/OnePlus-Strix-Gaming-Controller-2.png 1483w" sizes="(max-width: 1024px) 100vw, 1024px" /></figure></div>

<p>The <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/product/oneplus-ace-6-ultra/" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">OnePlus Ace 6 Ultra</a> fits into this list as the brand’s more gaming-focused alternative to the OnePlus 15. It is currently aimed at the Chinese market, but its hardware makes it one of the strongest esports phones in OnePlus’ lineup.</p>

<p>The phone uses the MediaTek Dimensity 9500 chipset, up to 16GB LPDDR5X Ultra RAM, and up to 1TB UFS 4.1 storage. It has a 6.78-inch 1.5K BOE AMOLED display with up to a 165Hz refresh rate. The Lingxi Touch Core raises instantaneous touch sampling to 4000Hz, which gives the phone a stronger focus on fast input response than the standard OnePlus 15.</p>

<p>OnePlus has also tuned the Ace 6 Ultra for sustained gaming. The phone uses the company’s Wind Chaser Gaming Kernel and next-generation Glacier Cooling System. OnePlus says it can average 164.7fps in Delta Force at the highest graphics settings. The software also includes shooting-game tools such as display enhancement, footstep sound enhancement, and an assist crosshair.</p>

<p>The phone’s biggest advantage is battery life. It packs an 8600mAh dual-cell battery with 120W SuperVOOC charging, which gives it the largest battery on this list. It also has IP66, IP68, IP69, and IP69K ratings. The optional <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/2026/04/29/everything-you-need-to-know-about-oneplus-first-gaming-controller/" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">Gunfire Gaming Controller</a> adds mechanical triggers, a 1.8ms response time, an esports chip, and support for magnetic heat-sink expansion.</p>

<h3><strong>Red Magic 11 Air</strong></h3>

<div class="wp-block-image"><figure class="aligncenter size-large"><img loading="lazy" width="1024" height="585" src="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2026/03/Red-Magic-11-Air-1024x585.png?x44794" alt="Red Magic 11 Air" class="wp-image-730320" srcset="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2026/03/Red-Magic-11-Air-1024x585.png 1024w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2026/03/Red-Magic-11-Air-300x171.png 300w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2026/03/Red-Magic-11-Air-768x439.png 768w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2026/03/Red-Magic-11-Air-696x398.png 696w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2026/03/Red-Magic-11-Air-1068x610.png 1068w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2026/03/Red-Magic-11-Air-735x420.png 735w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2026/03/Red-Magic-11-Air.png 1209w" sizes="(max-width: 1024px) 100vw, 1024px" /></figure></div>

<p>The <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/product/red-magic-11-air/" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">Red Magic 11 Air</a> is a slimmer gaming phone that still keeps many gaming-focused features. The phone measures 7.85mm thick and weighs 207g, which makes it lighter than the Red Magic 11 Pro models.</p>

<p>The phone has a 6.85-inch 1.5K OLED display with a 144Hz refresh rate. The screen supports 2592Hz PWM dimming, DC dimming, and a 95.1 percent screen-to-body ratio. It also uses a 16MP under-display camera, so users get a full-screen design.</p>

<p>The Red Magic 11 Air runs on the Snapdragon 8 Elite chipset. It also includes the Redcore R4 gaming chip, up to 16GB LPDDR5X RAM, and up to 512GB UFS 4.1 storage. The phone has shoulder triggers with a 520Hz touch response rate.</p>

<p>The cooling system includes an aerospace-grade aluminum air-cooling bracket, a Turbo Fan 4.0 active fan, a VC cooling system, and graphene copper foil. The phone has a 7000mAh battery with 120W fast charging and bypass charging support.</p>

<p>The Red Magic 11 Air is a good choice for gamers who want a thinner phone without giving up an active fan and dedicated gaming controls.</p>

<div class="wp-block-image"><figure class="aligncenter size-large"><img loading="lazy" width="1024" height="584" src="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2026/03/iQOO-15R-1024x584.png?x44794" alt="iQOO 15R" class="wp-image-730321" srcset="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2026/03/iQOO-15R-1024x584.png 1024w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2026/03/iQOO-15R-300x171.png 300w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2026/03/iQOO-15R-768x438.png 768w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2026/03/iQOO-15R-696x397.png 696w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2026/03/iQOO-15R-1068x610.png 1068w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2026/03/iQOO-15R-736x420.png 736w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2026/03/iQOO-15R.png 1421w" sizes="(max-width: 1024px) 100vw, 1024px" /></figure></div>

<p><a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/category/red-magic/">RedMagic</a> has officially locked in May 18 for the launch of the <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/2026/04/16/redmagic-11s-pro-surfaces-on-nbtc/">RedMagic 11S Pro</a>, and based on the early teasers, the company is doing what it usually does best: pushing mobile hardware as hard as possible.</p>

<div class="wp-block-image"><figure class="aligncenter size-full"><img loading="lazy" width="872" height="509" src="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/11/RedMagic-11-Pro-global.png?x44794" alt="" class="wp-image-713748" srcset="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/11/RedMagic-11-Pro-global.png 872w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/11/RedMagic-11-Pro-global-300x175.png 300w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/11/RedMagic-11-Pro-global-768x448.png 768w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/11/RedMagic-11-Pro-global-696x406.png 696w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/11/RedMagic-11-Pro-global-720x420.png 720w" sizes="(max-width: 872px) 100vw, 872px" /></figure></div>

<p>The teaser itself talks a lot about overclocking, which is basically RedMagic hinting that this won’t be a standard Snapdragon implementation. The Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 &#8220;Leading Version&#8221; is a slightly boosted variant similar to the special “for Galaxy” chips Samsung uses in its flagships.</p>

<p>According to RedMagic, the chips go through three separate rounds of testing before qualifying for the “Leading Version” label. One of those tests involves running at extremely high clock speeds, and only chips capable of maintaining stable operation at 4.74GHz make it to the next stage.</p>

<p>From there, the selected chips are pushed through additional voltage and frequency stress testing under extreme conditions to evaluate stability, heat, and power efficiency. In simple terms, RedMagic is essentially binning the best-performing Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 chips for the 11S Pro.</p>

<p>For context, most <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/2026/03/20/snapdragon-8-elite-gen-5-phones-list/">Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 phones</a> so far, including devices from Xiaomi, iQOO, and OnePlus, top out at 4.61GHz. Then there’s the software tuning side of things, which tends to be more conservative on mainstream flagships like Samsung’s Galaxy S26 Ultra.</p>

<p>The end result, at least according to RedMagic’s teaser material, is a phone capable of running over 200 supported games at up to 2K resolution and 144fps, including titles like Call of Duty and “Break Through the Dark Zone.” The company also mentions support for resolution upscaling and frame interpolation during gameplay.</p>

<div class="wp-block-image"><figure class="aligncenter size-large"><img loading="lazy" width="1024" height="814" src="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2026/05/007kVUJhgy1icyz9qxegrj30u04vp1ky-1024x814.jpg?x44794" alt="" class="wp-image-737759" srcset="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2026/05/007kVUJhgy1icyz9qxegrj30u04vp1ky-1024x814.jpg 1024w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2026/05/007kVUJhgy1icyz9qxegrj30u04vp1ky-300x239.jpg 300w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2026/05/007kVUJhgy1icyz9qxegrj30u04vp1ky-768x611.jpg 768w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2026/05/007kVUJhgy1icyz9qxegrj30u04vp1ky-696x554.jpg 696w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2026/05/007kVUJhgy1icyz9qxegrj30u04vp1ky-1068x849.jpg 1068w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2026/05/007kVUJhgy1icyz9qxegrj30u04vp1ky-528x420.jpg 528w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2026/05/007kVUJhgy1icyz9qxegrj30u04vp1ky.jpg 1080w" sizes="(max-width: 1024px) 100vw, 1024px" /></figure></div>

<p>Of course, higher clocks don’t automatically mean better gaming experience. Sustained performance matters more, and that’s usually where RedMagic tries to separate itself. The company has spent the last few generations aggressively experimenting with vapor chambers, internal fans, liquid cooling, basically anything that helps keep the chip running harder for longer. The 11S Pro is expected to continue that trend. The RedMagic 11s Pro is set to launch on May 18 in China.</p>

<p>RedMagic is also launching a new gaming tablet, the Gaming Tablet 5 Pro, which is expected to feature a compact 9-inch OLED display with a very high refresh rate, reportedly up to 185Hz. It’s also tipped to use the same Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 platform, paired with up to 24GB RAM and 1TB storage depending on the version.</p>

<p>It looks like <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/category/nubia/">Nubia</a> is getting ready for another refresh in its gaming phone lineup. The RedMagic 11s Pro has now appeared in a certification listing, which usually means things are moving toward a launch.</p>

<div class="wp-block-image"><figure class="aligncenter size-full"><img loading="lazy" width="872" height="509" src="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/11/RedMagic-11-Pro-global.png?x44794" alt="" class="wp-image-713748" srcset="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/11/RedMagic-11-Pro-global.png 872w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/11/RedMagic-11-Pro-global-300x175.png 300w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/11/RedMagic-11-Pro-global-768x448.png 768w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/11/RedMagic-11-Pro-global-696x406.png 696w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/11/RedMagic-11-Pro-global-720x420.png 720w" sizes="(max-width: 872px) 100vw, 872px" /></figure></div>

<p>The listing comes from Thailand’s NBTC and confirms the name along with the model number NX809J. There’s no mention of specs there, which isn’t unusual, but it’s enough to confirm the device is on the way.</p>

<p>What’s slightly confusing is the model number. NX809J <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/2025/08/22/red-magic-11-pro-geekbench-snapdragon-8-elite-2/">has been linked</a> before to the <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/2025/11/17/why-the-redmagic-11-pros-design-makes-it-the-coolest-gaming-phone-yet/">RedMagic 11 Pro</a>. And if you remember, when the 11 Pro launched globally, it already borrowed quite a bit from that Pro+ version. So now there’s a bit of overlap again.</p>

<p>That makes it harder to tell what exactly the 11s Pro is supposed to be. It could just be a reworked version for global markets, or there might be some small upgrades. RedMagic has done both in the past.</p>

<p>There’s no official word on specs yet, but people are already guessing. One thing that keeps coming up is the battery. The Chinese 11 Pro has an 8,000mAh unit, while the global version dropped slightly to 7,500mAh in favor of faster charging. There’s a chance the 11s Pro swings things back.</p>

<div class="wp-block-image"><figure class="aligncenter size-large"><img loading="lazy" width="800" height="1024" src="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2026/04/image-599-800x1024.png?x44794" alt="" class="wp-image-734909" srcset="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2026/04/image-599-800x1024.png 800w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2026/04/image-599-234x300.png 234w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2026/04/image-599-768x983.png 768w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2026/04/image-599-696x891.png 696w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2026/04/image-599-328x420.png 328w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2026/04/image-599.png 940w" sizes="(max-width: 800px) 100vw, 800px" /></figure></div>

<p>Beyond that, it will probably stick to the same idea. A flagship Snapdragon chip, active cooling with a built-in fan, high refresh rate display, shoulder triggers, all the usual gaming-focused hardware. That’s kind of RedMagic’s identity at this point.</p>

<p>The current 11 Pro is already pretty strong on raw performance, so this refresh might just be about small refinements rather than anything major.</p>

<p>No launch date yet, but with certification out of the way, it likely won’t be too long before more details start showing up.</p>
