The Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 is Qualcomm’s most advanced smartphone chipset for Android devices, promising superior performance, efficiency, and agentic AI capabilities. Soon after its announcement in September 2025, smartphone brands rushed to launch devices with this processor.
Now there are dozens of options powered by Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5, and the list continues to grow steadily. Here’s an updated list of Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 smartphones launched so far.

Samsung phones with Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5
The Galaxy S26 series, launched in February 2026, features a Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 chipset. It’s worth noting that only the S26 Ultra gets this chip worldwide, while the S26 and S26+ get the Snapdragon chip in select regions, including the US, Canada, Japan, and China. Other regions, including India, get Exynos 2600.
Besides a flagship chipset, one of the biggest highlights of the Galaxy S26 series is Privacy Display.

The iQOO 15 was launched in October 2025 as the company’s first phone with Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5. In February 2026, the iQOO 15 Ultra arrived with the same chipset, but as a more premium phone, and a month later, the Vivo X300 Ultra landed in China, with the global rollout kicking off in April.
