It will be the second iteration and Xiaomi says that it will offer ‘invincible high-performance’ to gamers.</p>
<p data-vmark="9322">And now, the official Weibo account of Xiaomi Notebook has <a href="https://weibo.com/5977021843/KyA0PxdZL?filter=hot&amp;root_comment_id=0&amp;type=comment#_rnd1631880715505">revealed</a> that all variants of the Redmi G 2021 laptops will be equipped with a larger-than-usual 16.1-inch super-smooth 144Hz gaming display.</p>
<p data-vmark="9322"><img loading="lazy" class="alignnone size-full wp-image-413413" src="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2021/09/redmi-g-2021-display-teaser.jpg?x44794" alt="redmi-g-2021-display-teaser" width="690" height="920" srcset="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2021/09/redmi-g-2021-display-teaser.jpg 690w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2021/09/redmi-g-2021-display-teaser-225x300.jpg 225w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2021/09/redmi-g-2021-display-teaser-315x420.jpg 315w" sizes="(max-width: 690px) 100vw, 690px" /></p>
<p data-vmark="9322">However, it is worth mentioning here that since the previous generation too had the same display specs, this is hardly a surprise. What remains to be seen is whether other specifications like for say, the peak brightness, will be upgraded.</p>
<p data-vmark="9322">Previously, Xiaomi had teased that all Redmi G 2021 gaming laptops will be coming with an &#8216;independent display direct connection&#8217;. Other known specs include the <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/tag/amd">AMD</a> <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/2021/09/16/redmi-g-2021-teaser-reveals-cpu-gpu/">Ryzen 7 5800H mobile processor</a> paired with the <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/tag/NVIDIA/">NVIDIA</a> RTX 3060 processor. According to the company, the Redmi G 2021 with RTX 3060 can achieve a full power consumption of 130W. Of course, coming with an RTX GPU also means that it will be supporting ray tracing for improved visuals in supported games.</p>
<p data-vmark="9322">There is also a new cooling system dubbed &#8220;<a href="https://www.ithome.com/0/576/155.htm">Hurricane Cooling 3.0</a>&#8221; that will include dual 12V large fans, five all-copper heat pipes, and four air outlet configurations.</p>

<p data-vmark="9322">Lastly, a pre-sale page of the Redmi G 2021 had earlier shown that the laptop also comes with an <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/tag/Intel/">Intel</a> processor version.</p>
<p data-vmark="9322">The release date for the Redmi G 2021 was revealed with its very first official teaser a few days ago. The said date is only a few days away &#8211; September 22.</p>
<p data-vmark="9322">The laptop is expected to be priced higher than its <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/2020/08/14/redmi-g-gaming-laptop-launches-with-144hz-display-core-i7-10750h-gtx-1650-ti-and-more/">previous generation</a> that was released in August 2020. This is because it has been implied by Xiaomi as being a &#8216;high-end product&#8217; that aims to offer &#8216;invincible&#8217; performance. This makes sense considering that the older model came with a mid-range GTX 1650 Ti processor while the Redmi G 2021 is coming with a high-end RTX supporting GPU.</p>
