The OnePlus 13R is a premium option featuring an aluminum frame and the powerful Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 processor, which is much faster than the Vivo V50’s 7 Gen 3 processor. It offers an LTPO 4.1 screen, Gorilla Glass 7i protection, and Ultra HDR image support.

This is another excellent premium mid-range phone featuring an aluminum alloy frame, Gorilla Glass 7i protection, and an IP68 rating that ensures protection against dust and water. It has a slightly smaller screen size with a higher pixel density, resulting in sharper and crisper images. The device is powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 8350 chip, faster than Vivo V50’s Snapdragon 7 Gen 3.

The Reno 14 promises two additional Android upgrades than the Vivo V50. It also featured an additional camera unit (telephoto lens) on the rear side, enabling a range of shots. 4. Samsung Galaxy S24 FE

It’s another solid package on the list, featuring an aluminum frame, IP68 rating, and Gorilla Glass Victus+ protection on both sides. The Exynos 2400e chipset powers the handset, which is nearly twice as fast as the Snapdragon 7 Gen 3 on the Vivo V50.

The Galaxy S24 FE features a marginally smaller screen size with nearly the same pixel density but a significantly lower peak brightness. However, it leaves the Vivo V50 in the dust by offering seven years of Android upgrades. The device allows up to 8K video recording via its triple rear cameras, which also includes a telephoto unit. The battery capacity, however, is a bit disappointing, as is the charging speed (4700mAh, 25W). However, it supports wireless charging.

The Vivo T4 Ultra puts a tough show against the Vivo V50 while being similarly priced. It comes with the Dimensity 9300+ chipset, which is significantly faster than the Snapdragon 7 Gen 3 in the V50.

The T4 Ultra also features superior overall cameras, rocking a 50MP primary shooter, an 8MP ultrawide camera, and a 50MP periscope telephoto camera. The V50 lacks a telephoto camera. The T4 Ultra, however, features lower-resolution selfie and ultrawide cameras, but overall, it has a solid camera setup.

Vivo T4 Ultra

Vivo positioned the T4 Ultra as a feature-rich midranger that flirts with flagship territory. The new model brings a flagship-grade quad-curved OLED display, a powerful Dimensity 9300+ chipset, and a triple camera setup with a periscope lens. On Wednesday (June 11), Vivo will announce the Vivo T4 Ultra for the Indian market. The microsite of the phone available on Flipkart only revealed the rear design and a few specs until last week. The updated page has now revealed the front design of the smartphone.

Vivo T4 Ultra display details confirmed

Vivo has confirmed that the Vivo T4 Ultra will feature a quad-curved AMOLED screen that offers a 1.5K resolution. The screen will support a local peak brightness of 5000 nits, claims the brand. The handset will measure only 7.43mm in thickness and weigh 192 grams.

Vivo has already revealed that the Vivo T4 Ultra will feature the Dimensity 9300 Plus chipset. The brand is yet to reveal the RAM, storage, battery size, and charging capabilities of the device.

The T4 Ultra’s rear camera setup includes a Sony IMX921 50-megapixel primary camera with OIS support. It is accompanied by an 8-megapixel ultra-wide lens and a Sony IMX882 50-megapixel periscope camera with 3x optical zoom and OIS support. The device is expected to arrive with support for 100x digital zoom.

The phone will arrive in two shades, such as Black and Phoenix Gold. In terms of pricing, the device is likely to cost around Rs 35,000 and will be sold via Flipkart.

Reports suggest that the Vivo T4 Ultra will be based on the Vivo S20 Pro, which debuted in China last year. The device is expected to feature a 6.83-inch OLED LTPS screen with 1.5K resolution and 120Hz refresh rate. It could be one of the first devices to launch with Snapdragon 8s Gen 4 at a global stage. This camera is paired with a 50MP Sony IMX921 primary sensor with OIS support and possibly an 8MP Samsung JN1 sensor for ultra wide angle shots. To recall, the Sony IMX882 telephoto and IMX921 main cameras are high-end image sensors that have often been seen in flagship devices like the Vivo X200.

Launch Date

In the latest teaser, Vivo officially confirmed the launch date for the T4 Ultra. The device will make its global debut in the Indian market on 11th June 2025. Pricing details are still at large but the smartphone will be available for purchase via Flipkart.

Ahead of the launch, the brand has confirmed the camera specifications of the device.

Vivo T4 Ultra camera specifications

According to Vivo, the Vivo T4 Ultra will arrive with a Sony IMX921 50-megapixel main camera with OIS support. The brand offers the same camera on flagship phones like the Vivo X200 / X200s and iQOO 13. The same sensor is also available on the Vivo V50.

For ultra-wide shots, the Vivo T4 Ultra will feature an 8-megapixel sensor, which could be a Samsung JN1 lens. To recall, the T3 Ultra featured a main camera and ultra-wide in its rear camera setup, but the successor edition will feature an additional Sony IMX882 50-megapixel periscope telephoto camera. It will come with features like OIS, telephoto macro, 3x optical zoom, and 100x digital zoom.

Vivo has also confirmed that the Vivo T4 Ultra will feature an OLED panel with a quad-curved design. The screen will offer a 1.5K resolution and a 120Hz refresh rate.
