ZTE made best use of the famous ‘flash sale’ business model and sold 52,800 units of their Nubia Z7 Max and Nubia Z7 Mini handsets in less than five minutes. Those who could not get their hands on these phones could reserve them online on the ZTE website or order them from the official online retailer.

The original Nubia Z7 flagship mobile has features like a 5.5-inch Quad HD display with 1440 X 2560 resolution. It is powered by a 2.5 GHz quad-core Snapdragon 801 processor and has 32 GB expandable storage. These features pitch it against the very similar LG G3. The Nubia Z7 Max has similar specifications as the Z7 expect a few tweaks. The resolution in Z7 Max is a conventional Full HD instead of Quad HD and comes with a smaller RAM of 2 GB in place of 3 GB in the flagship model. These features have made many experts and users question the name of the model i.e. ‘Max’. The Nubia Z7 Mini is called so because of the smaller screen size as compared to Z7 Max. However, it sports a 5 inch screen which is definitely not ‘mini’ by any chance.

Both the Z7 Max and Z7 Mini have similar camera configurations with the back and front-facing cameras on being 13 MP and 5 MP, respectively. Also the max has a larger battery of 3100 mAh while the mini possesses a 2300 mAh battery. As of now, these handsets are being sold in the Chinese market and the world awaits their arrival in other countries.

ZTE Nubia Z7, Nubia Z7 max and Nubia Z7 mini are released in Beijing this afternoon. The new Nubia Z7 series include 3 different model. There is only a few difference on specs with similar design. Here is ZTE nubia Z7 phones hands-on pictures.

ZTE Nubia Z7 is new flagship smartphone, the specs is similar like OPPO Find 7, it packs 5.5 inch 2K quad HD screen, along with Qualcomm Snapdragon 801 MSM8974AC processor, 3GB DDR3 RAM and 32GB ROM. But Nubia Z7 own advanced 113-megapixel OIS camera and 3000mAh battery. This phone support dual SIM cards and 4G FDD-LTE bands(B1, B3 and B7).

ZTE Nubia Z7 max and Z7 mini has lower specs and unbeliveable low price, Nubia Z7 max only cost RMB1999 (about $380), and Nubia Z7 mini cost RMB1499 (about $240). The 3 models only accept pre-order since July 9th on official shop and JD.com.

At a launch event in Beijing this afternoon, ZTE Nubia revealed a series of phones in their new Nubia Z7 series. These are the Nubia Z7, Z7 Max, and Z7 Mini. Here’s an analysis on the similarities and difference between the three:

ZTE Nubia Z7

It sports a 5.5-inch 2K screen (2560 x 1440) and 13mp rear-facing camera. It is also the first phone to have a RAM-supported auto-refresh function for its 2K screen.

The Nubia Z7 uses the Snapdragon 801 quad-core processor, not the 805 as previous reports have said. It has a main frequency of 2.5GHz and has 3GB RAM and 32GB internal memory storage. It also quick recharging and supports MHL 3.0.

As for its camera, it has a rear-facing camera with 13mp and supports a f/2.0-f/22 aperture. Its photo software is the new Neo Vision 4.0.

ZTE Nubia Z7 Max and ZTE Nubia Z7 mini

It also sports a 5.5-inch display screen but its resolution has been decreased to just 1080p (HD). The Mini version only has a 1080p screen.

Similarities:

All three use the Snapdragon 801 processor. They support internet networks provided by China Mobile, China Unicom, and China Telecom. They also support TD-LTE, FDD-LTE, TD-SCDMA, WCDMA, EVDO, and GSM internet as well as dual-SIM 4G internet.
