After the Consumer Electronic Show (CES) 2013 event, Asus tries to bring a new tablet product. The tablets are a cheap tablet for consumers, thats called Asus Memo Pad.
The tablet has a 7 inch screen and will be available in three colors, such as White Sugar, Titanium Gray and Pink Cherry. Asus says the tablet will be sold in several countries in this January including China. The price is cheap, which is equal to $150 USD.
Memo Pad is running Android Jelly Bean operating system. In addition, there is a VIA WM8950 SoC chip. Chip SoC has a single core processor with a speed of 1GHz and Mali-400 GPU.
Other specifications, this tablet comes with 1GB of RAM and internal memory options of 8GB and 16GB. This tablet also has a microSD slot for additional storage capacity up to 32GB. And, as an added feature, there is also access for 5GB of cloud storage via Asus WebStorage.
While its competitors Acer has also issued a low budget tablet called Acer Iconia B1 will also offers with compepetive price.
