Gionee is geared up to launch World’s Slimmest smart Phone.

Gionee another reputed Chinese manufacturer who are striving hard for expansion of their territory in  emerging markets,Is allegedly ready to launch their new phone and its just 0.2 inches thin form factor. Yes after it launched  Elife S5.5 which was about 5.5mm thin,the company plans to prove that it can even go thinner with phone codenamed GN9005 is said to sport a 0.2-inch (or 5mm) thin form factor with a quad-core processor running inside it.

GN9005 alleged specs:
4.8-inch HD AMOLED display with 720P resolution
Quad-core processor(mostly Cortex A7).
1GB RAM.
16GB internal storage.
8MP rear camera.
5MP front camera.
2050mAh battery.

Based on the specification it seems to be a mid range phone with that X-factor of being thin.

There is no info if the phone is available worldwide,but Gionee is also rebranded as Blu and Allview .So there is a good chance that the phone will be available even if not under Gionee.
