We all are excited for tomorrow, where we will meet the world’s first 6GB RAM smartphone, the Vivo XPlay 5. The company has confirmed that the phone will release tomorrow with a dual edge curved design, similar to the Galaxy S6 Edge. So, it will really be interesting to see what other specifications the phone features.

Although, officially, we have to wait for about 24 hours to get these details, thanks to a new leak which shows off various Vivo XPlay 5 posters, we have most of the information that we need.

First of all, as you can see in the images, the XPlay 5 flagship looks similar to the Galaxy S6 Edge smartphone. The display is curved at the edges on both the sides. Along with this peculiar design, Vivo is said to use an integrated metal body accounting for 98% metal. There will also be a rose gold color option available for the device, in addition to the white and gold colors.

As for the specs, the posters confirm that the Vivo XPlay 5 will feature a 5.43-inch Super AMOLED display with 2K resolution. There will be two versions available, one powered by the Snapdragon 652 octa-core chip with 4GB of RAM and the higher-end model featuring the much more powerful Snapdragon 820 quad-core chipset with a whopping 6GB of RAM. There will be 128GB storage available on the device.

As for the camera, the Vivo XPlay 5 comes with a 16MP rear-facing shooter and an 8MP front facing camera. If you remember, these were the specs confirmed by GFXBench listing a couple of hours back. Further, the phone will come with a decent 3600mAh battery with fast charge support.

There will also be a fingerprint sensor located at the back of the device. Other features include a built-in Hi-Fi CS4398 + AS45257 chip for superior audio quality and dual card dual standby support. VIvo may also announce a couple of accessories for the device, like a Bluetooth speaker or headphones.
