There is no doubt that the Xiaomi Max is going to be large. In fact, according to the latest information, the phone is going to come with a massive 6.4-inch display to satisfy the needs of users who crave a large screen. Under the hood, the phone should come with Snapdragon 650 hexa-core chip with 2GB / 3GB RAM variants and 16GB / 32GB storage options. Expect a 16MP rear camera with an 8MP front shooter, 4000mAh+ battery and Android 6 with MIUI 8 on top. All these features for a price tag of around $200 make it a worthy phablet for budget users.

We have been hearing a lot about the phone for the past few days. You can check out our previous coverage from down below.

So what should we expect? The Redmi Note 3 Pro’s 16MP sensor? I mean, it seems very much like they’re building a bigger device with as many of the same internals as possible so I’m gonna go ahead and guess yes.

Quite Possibly. Xiaomi seems to be targeting the cheap phablet market with this device, so it makes sense to just use the same sensor on the Note 3 Pro.
However, if you remember, the company did reveal a few teasers focused on the phone’s camera a couple of days back, which could be hinting at an upgraded setup. But then, it could just be for marketing the device.
Anyway, just two days left to see what the company has in store for us. So, let’s wait.

This model should sell well in China where they love huge phones. The only place I have seen people using tablets as phones.

  • Qidamin

Only white version? I didn’t see any other colors so far.

  • Xiaomilover

This could be my smartphone if the price $200 – $220 for 3GB/32GB model.
I am waiting for so long for Redmi Note 3 pro 32GB to replenish their stock here for months already.

Really i cannot wait any longer because my bluebo phone is dying. Can power off by itself intermittenly,

Btw careful with white version as it will be horrible if got black border on the side screen.

Please have more dark color like dark blue, dark grey, dark purple.
But obviously i don’t like those flashy colors like gold, silver, pink , yellow etc
