by Jed John 4

ZTE announced the Axon 7 flagship smartphone sometime in May this year and the smartphone became available in store shelves in June. What looks like a toned down version of the Axon 7, going by the moniker Axon 7 Mini has been released by the Chinese smartphone manufacturer.

Recall also that the ZTE Axon 7 Mini’s specs was leaked last month, showing us what to expect from ZTE and indeed there is no difference from the leaked specs. The Axon 7 Mini design is very much similar to that of the Axon 7 flagship, although both sport different sizes with the Axon 7 having a 5.5-inch display. The Axon 7 Mini also comes with an all-metal body design, 5.2-inch display with 1080p resolution and 2.5D glass cover. The beautiful dual speaker grills on the Axon 7 is also present here.

    little bit expensive…just a bit….

I agree, but then it’s a nice price for device in Europe.
You can’t find a lot of better for that price (except if you are buying on Contract like i do).
What i don’t like on this phone is it’s SoC, i think that all mini version of devices should have same HW as their bigger brothers (except for a screen)… As Sony does wit their Compact.
Devices like this one (or Samsung’s minis, f.e.), no matter how similar in design to their bigger brothers they are, just should have different name.

      But, that’s just me…

SD 617 doesn’t worth 330$, it would hv been a different story if it was a SD 652…..

  • It`s surely a great device, but that price tag is insane.
The Axon 7 could be found for 499$.
