Traveling to a foreign country brings its own difficulties encountered when the road sign or written instructions using other language thats no understand for us. Now, with Google Translate application, you can translate from picture and photo.

Google has update the language translator application by adding the ability to translate the words from photo or picture you take. To get the result, after the target image, the user is prompted to highlight the part you want translated in advance. That it should be noted, Google Translate application is not immediately detect the language in the photo, so users have to do it manually.

New function itself is similar to the iOS application called Word Lens. Similar functions can also be found on Google Goggles.

This application can be downloaded at Google Play Store and be able to run on handsets running Android 2.3 (Gingerbread) or higher.
