A few months ago, there is the news spread about the existence of the first smart phone in North Korea called Arirang AS1202. And now, the smartphone has been officially introduced as Uniscope XC2 W1231.
This smartphone is built by a Chinese company named Uniscope. And this phone also has a nice feature that same as the high end Android smartphones on the market.
This phone is packs with 5-inch screen size made by Sharp with full HD resolution. POwered by a 1.5GHz quad core MT6589T processor, supported by 2GB of RAM and 32GB of internal memory. And running Android 4.1.2 Jelly Bean Operating system.
There is a 13 megapixel rear-facing camera and a 5 megapixel front-facing. Support for Bluetooth 4.0, WiFi , USB and WCDMA in 2100 MHz and GSM 1800/900 MHz network. In addition, this smartphone comes with a fairly thin size, the body is only 8.4 mm thickness and has 2000 mAh battery capacity.
Despite having a fairly advanced specifications, this smartphone is designed specifically for use in North Korea. The main thing is, the phone is not equipped with the presence of internet connection. So, this smartphone users can not be used to access Google Play.
