The recent rumor says that the upcoming iPhone phablet device will be available in 2015, that’s because the Apple suppliers is difficulty to produce phablet version of the iPhone battery.
As previously rumored device with a 5.5 inch screen it will have a thin body which requires a battery with a thickness less than 2mm, as a comparison of the smartphone battery usually has a thickness of 2.8mm-2.9mm.
Because of this problem, the producing of the thin battery for iPhone phablet device is likely to be delayed until Apple gets a guaranteed from supplier.
