Sony has been launch the next generation of Xperia ZL, the new phone is called as Xperia ZL2 and the phone is now officially release in Japanese market, this new version has slimmer bezels.
As same as with the previous ZL model, the phone packs with 5 inch screen size with 1080p screen display, comes with Sony Mobile BRAVIA Engine 2 and X-Reality engine.
The phone is powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 801 MSM8974AB processor that runing on 2.3GHz quad-core chipset. Sports with 3GB of RAM and 32GB of internal memory, the ZL2 is running with Android 4.4 KitKat operating system with Sony Xperia UI on top of the operating system.
While the body dimmension is bit larger than the previous ZL smartphone with measuring 137 x 72 x 10.8mm (compared to 131.6 x 69.3 x 9.8 mm of the Xperia ZL), the new phone is also more heavier than the predecessor.
The Sony Xperia ZL2 has 20.7 megapixel camera, it’s capable torecord 4K video (3,840 x 2,160) and take the picture that has 5,248 x 3,936 pixel resolution. powered by 3,000 mAh non-remvable battery capacity, support for NFC connectivity, WiFi and Bluetooth.
Unfortunately, the phone will be release in Japan but we assumed that Sony is also preparing this phone for global market. There is no information about the price tag.
