Apple has recently launched their iPhone 6 Plus. The main opponent in the war for Apple is Xiaomi with their phone Mi4. Mi4 was released in August 2014. We are comparing the products of the Apple and Apple of China.
Design
The iPhone 6 Plus has dimensions of 158.1 x 77.8 mm and it weighs around 172g. The body is made up of metal and is 7.1mm thick. This gadget is available in different colours, gold, silver and gray. On the other side, Xiaomi Mi4 weighs around 149g, and its frame is 139.2 x 68.5 mm. This smartphone is 8.9mm thick. The body has stainless steel band at edges. Mi4 is present in market only in two colours, i.e., white and black.
Display
The iPhone 6 Plus has 5.5-inch IPS LCD screen. While Xiaomi Mi4 has a 5.0-inch IPS LCD screen.
Processor, RAM and Storage
The iPhone 6 Plus has an A8 processor and 2 GB RAM and there is no external storage. But inbuilt storage variants, 16 GB, 64 GB and 128 GB are available. The Xiaomi Mi4 exhibits Snapdragon 801 chipset, Krait 400 quad-core (2.5 GHz), 3GB of RAM. It is present in market as 16 GB and 64 GB variants.
Camera
The iPhone 6 Plus posses an 8MP iSight rear camera and 1.2MP front camera. Xiaomi Mi4 is a step ahead and has a 13MP rear and 8MP front camera.
Distinctive Software and Hardware Features
iPhone 6 Plus runs on iOS 8 while Xiaomi Mi4 runs on Android v4.4.3 KitKat. iPhone 6 Plus is capable of sensing fingerprints. There is no such feature in Xiaomi Mi4.
Battery
iPhone 6 Plus has a non-removable 1,810 mAh battery. The Xiaomi Mi4 has somewhat larger non-removable battery 3,080 mAh battery.
Price
iPhone 6 Plus is available at $299, $399, and $499 for 16 GB, 64 GB and 128 GB, respectively with a contract. The unlocked 16 GB version is priced at $650. And Xiaomi Mi4 16GB is priced at $439 and 64 GB at $499.
