ASUS recently updated its Fonepad 7 lineup. The new model ASUS Fonepad 7 (FE375CL) greatly improves in the tech specs department as compared to the last year’s model. One of the major highlights of the device is that it comes pre-installed with Android 5.0 Lollipop out of the box. This will make it one of the first ASUS products to be powered by Google’s latest OS.

Tech specs wise, the phone features a quad-core Intel Atom Z3530 processor clocked at 1.3GHz. The phone tablet will come with 2GB RAM on board along with 8GB / 16GB internal storage options. You get a MicroSD card slot along with 5GB of free cloud storage on the device. So storage wise, you shouldn’t have any trouble.

There will be a 7-inch display up front with a resolution of 1200 x 800 pixels. The SIM card slot can now support 4G LTE networks as well, finally bringing high speed internet connectivity to the device. At the back, there will be a 5MP camera. Like we mentioned earlier, the ASUS Fonepad 7 will come with Android 5.0 Lollipop OS out of the box.

ASUS will first make the device available for sale in the China-Taiwan region. The ASUS Fonepad 7 (FE375CL) will go on sale for about 1533 Yuan which comes to $250. After its initial release in this region, the device is expected to be released in global markets.
