Gionee would be wrapping off the curtains from Elife S7 on 3rd of April in Hydrabad, India. Gionee yesterday sent Press invites for the same.

The Gionee Elife S7 is made out of aviation grade aluminium magnesium alloy with full metal skeleton design. It is not the company’s slimmest phone but nonetheless it is ultra slim at 5.5 mm. Both the front and the back of the phone is covered by Corning Gorilla Glass 3. This creates a combination of hardness and softness which would provide maximum protection. It is  available in Black, White and Blue colour variants and has been priced at 399 Euros (US $448 / INR Rs 27,700 approximately) and should be priced around Rs 25,000-28,000 in India. Lets have a look at the specifications of the Gionee Elife S7 in India.

The Gionee Elife in India S7 features a 5.2-inch (1920 x 1080 pixels) AMOLED display which is protected by Corning Gorilla Glass 3. It is powered by a 1.7 GHz octa-core MediaTek MT6752 processor. It has 2 GB of RAM and comes with 16 GB of internal memory which cannot be expanded. The device runs on Android 5.0 Lollipop with the company’s Amigo OS 3.0 on top of it.

The Gionee Elife S7 comes with a 13 megapixel rear camera with LED flash, Sony IMX214 sensor. Gionee claims that its image processing system ‘Image+’ will enable users to shoot stunningly high quality images with easy user experience. The camera can capture six images in one second and compose them to one image by adjusting brightness and image noise. All this is possible due to the night mode engine of Image+. It can capture a picture within 500 milliseconds and can focus on the subject in 300 milliseconds.

The flagship device has a 8 megapixel front-facing camera which comes with intelligent Face beauty 3.0 technology. It would estimate users’ gender and age and then recommend the best over the face beauty effects for more natural selfies. The smartphone is 5.5 mm thick and weighs 126 grams. It supports Dual SIM as well.
