ZUK have recently started to crowdfund a production run for the Z1, they are looking to get funding of around $80,550 USD
The crowdfund is being run via Chinese e-commerce site jd.com, about $119,194 USD was pledged in less than 24 hours, the campaign is set to run for 21-days.
The crowdfunding has 4 levels of pledges available
Pledge 1 about $0.2 USD (limited to 20,000 )
10 pledgers will win a ZUK Z1.
200 pledgers will get a ZUK T-shirt.
Pledge 2 about $16 USD (limited to 10,000 )

*1-year free product replacement service (unless pledger physically damages handset).
*Access to ZUI close beta test.

The ZUK Z1 backed by Lenovo and will be powered by a Snapdragon chipset, its as yet unconfirmed which SOC will be in the handset, what would you like to see? the 810 v2.1 or possibly the 820? leave a comment below, along with 3GB of RAM, 64GB Rom, USB Type-C 3.0 port (for faster data transfers and quicker battery charging), as well as ZUK’s U-Touch home key featuring fingerprint unlock as well as other cool controls.
The rest of the specs are currently subject of speculation but are rumoured to include a 5.5″ 1080 x 1920 resolution screen, a 13MP Sony IMX214 rear camera, and a 4000+mAh battery designed for heavy users.
Pricing has yet to be announced, but hopefully it will be reasonable and bring the phone inline with the One+ 2
