LeEco, formerly known as LeTV, launched the second generation of its smartphones (LeEco Le 2, Le 2 Pro, and Le Max 2) back in April alongside a new version of its OS, EUI 5.8, which is based on Android Marshmallow. The final version of the OS is ready and LeEco will start pushing the update to devices starting tomorrow i.e. June 30.
EUI 5.8 will be sporting a lot of new features such as an immersive VR interface, remote assistance, app lock, international roaming, a wallet app etc. LeEco says that it listened to the customers and the new EUI 5.8 version comes with more than 340 new features and it has applied for 482 patents with respect to the new OS.
So, finally, users will be able to upgrade from EUI 5.6 to 5.8 in the coming days.
