UMIDIGI C NOTE is the latest budget smartphone that boasts a premium design and decent specs. The appearance of the C NOTE is so impressive that the Chinese Institute of Electronics (CIE) has recommended it to participate in the nominations for Red Dot Design Award 2017. Also, the Chinese firm will be showcased at the Global Sources Mobile Electronics Fair 2017 to present the C Note phablet. The upcoming tech fair will be held between April 18 to 21 in Hong Kong, China.

The UMIDIGI C NOTE sports a full metallic chassis made from a slab of aerospace-grade aluminum. The company claims that the precise assembling protects it from bumps and falls. The C NOTE is packed with a 5.5-inch IGZO display from Sharp that offers a full HD resolution of 1,920 x 1,080 pixels and offers support for a 95-percent NTSC color gamut.

The C NOTE is powered by MediaTek MT6737T chipset that features a 1.5 GHz quad-core processor along with 3 GB of RAM. The native storage of the phone is 32 GB. It offers an expandable storage of up to 256 GB. The phone is preloaded with Android 7.0 Nougat OS along with customized UI from the company. The smartphone has a slimmer profile of 3.8 mm and it is packed with a 3,800 mAh battery that provides a stand-by time of up to 2 days.

For photography, it is packed with a 13-megapixel S5K3L8 camera from Samsung and a selfie shooter of 5-megapixel from Samsung. The rear camera is enabled with dual LED flash.

The pre-sale of the UMIDIGI C NOTE that began on April 11 will come to an end on April 30 with a pricing of $129.99. The company is offering freebies like phone case and screen protector along with the phablet during the pre-order period. The phone can be availed in colors like Gray and Gold.
