In the previous week, the rumor mill had leaked a couple of images of a full screen Meizu phone with model number m1712. Today, new photos of the smartphone have surfaced from China. Fresh information suggests that the smartphone would be debuting as Meizu M6S or Blue Charm 6S.

Meizu is rumored to be working on multiple smartphones with full screen design. Among them, the Meizu M6S is said to be the budget-friendly phone that may launch with a price tag of around 1,000 Yuan (~$152). Hence, it seems to be a worthy competitor for the upcoming Redmi Note 5 that is also speculated to launch full screen design.

As far as the specifications of the Meizu M6S are concerned, it is expected to arrive with a 5.7-inch screen that will support an aspect ratio of 18:9. The MediaTek MT6793 chipset is rumored to power the smartphone with 3 GB of RAM. It is expected to house a rear camera of 13-megapixel and a selfie camera of 5-megapixel. It has been found to be running on Android 7.0 Nougat OS.

Apart from the full screen design of the phone, the most interesting feature of the phone seems to be the unique side-mounted fingerprint scanner. The smartphone may feature a metallic body along with rounded corners. What’s missing from the design of the Meizu M6S is the oblong-shaped Home button. Previously leaked images of the Meizu M6S show that the handset will be featuring a circle-shaped on-screen button that may possess the capabilities of mBack.
