The camera gimbal is a smart edition and it comes with an ergonomic design which fits well into the palm and allows for good grip. The gimbal weighs just 310g and has a three-axis gimbal head with a rotational angle of up to 320 ° in order for users to be able to get steady footages. It also comes with two 18350 lithium-ion batteries, each having an 850mAh capacity and both can last up to 6-8 hours. The camera gimbal packs a 3-axis gimbal head with an aluminum build. Just like the Gimbal 2, this new edition comes with three operational mode; Pan, Tilt, and Zoom. These models all play different roles in capturing smooth footage of fast moving objects, such as people playing sports, animals, and cars. The smart edition also comes with a universal ¼-inch thread attachment which allows you to use the Yi Handheld Smart Gimbal with other professional mounts

We also can’t seem to distinguish this model with the current version as the features overlap. The difference may lie in the smart feature which we are yet to determine since the details are scanty.
