Xiaomi will be launching the Mi MIX 2S flagship phone on March 27. From the beginning of this year, rumor mill has been actively leaking plenty of information on its specifications and features. One of the reports had even claimed that it would be equipped with an in-screen fingerprint scanner. A fresh photo of the alleged real handset of the Mi MIX 2S has appeared today. It reveals that the handset it is equipped with an under-display fingerprint scanner.

The Xiaomi Mi MIX 2S is expected to break cover as an upgraded version of the Mi MIX 2 from last year. The leaked image suggests the upgraded Mi MIX 2S may offer a higher screen-to-body ratio compared to the last year’s model. Also, it does not seem to feature a notch as early rumors had claimed. A recent leak has revealed that the handset may feature a 6.01-inch OLED display from Samsung. The screen is expected to support an aspect ratio of 18:9 and FHD+ resolution of 2160 x 1080 pixels.  Since the above image is not clear, it is difficult to see the exact positioning of the selfie camera. Some leaks have claimed that it could be moved to the top-right corner of the screen.

Xiaomi Mi MIX 2S will be fueled by Snapdragon 845 chipset. Its highest configuration model may feature 256 GB of storage and 8 GB of RAM. It is rumored to feature a dual camera setup that includes Sony IMX363 as one of its sensors. It is likely to house a 3,400mAh battery. It is pegged to come loaded with Android 8.0 Oreo flavored MIUI 9.
