The display notch design utilised by Apple on the iPhone X is turning out to be yet another growing trend. The design was featured on the ASUS Zenfone 5 and Zenfone 5Z and the upcoming OPPO R15 will launch with that design. A new rumour has now emerged about the Meizu 15 and a notch design isn’t among one of the features of the Meizu 15 flagship.Meizu 15

The source of the rumour is a Chinese tipster known as Mocha RQ who hinted that the Meizu flagship should be expected in April after the launch of the Meizu E2. The E2 will go official this month. The Meizu 15 is also expected to pack a conventional full-screen design. The device will have a 5.5-inch AMOLED display and not on made from LCD panel.

The processor that would be utilized on the Meizu 15 is still shrouded in mystery. A MediaTek chipset is out of the question since MediaTek announced way back that it was temporarily halting further efforts in the production of high-end chipsets. The likely contenders include Samsung’s Exynos 9810, Exynos 8895 chipset as well as the Qualcomm Snapdragon 835 and 845 chipsets.
