ZTE’s elite Nubia division has officially announced the Nubia N3. The N3 was recently spotted in the wild with the design and specs details revealed. According, the official specs are in consonance with the ones leaked earlier. The standout feature is perhaps the full-screen 18:9 display the device packs. This isn’t the first time Nubia is releasing a full-screen model but this is the first mid-range model from the Chinese firm with the trending design.Nubia N3

The Nubia N3 sports a 5.99-inch IPS display with an FHD+ resolution of 2160 x 1080p and 403ppi. The device adopts the 18:9 aspect ratio which means it comes with ultra-thin bezels. This is in keeping up with the growing trend which has engulfed the industry since the launch of the Galaxy S8 last year. However, there is a sizable amount of bezels at the top and bottom edges but the device lacks a physical home button even though there is enough bezel at the bottom to house one. Instead, the device will utilise virtual buttons and there is a stylish ring which identifies the virtual home button.Nubia N3

The N3 is powered by a 64-bit Octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 625 chipset paired with 4GB of RAM. The device also packs a 64GB internal storage which can be expanded by up to 128GB via microSD. Providing the interface is Android 7.1 Nougat OS which is likely modified with Nubia’s custom UI.Nubia N3

On the camera end, the Nubia N3 packs a 16MP selfie camera with PDAF, full-focus and other features. There is also a dual camera setup at the rear which is arranged horizontally. We don’t know the configuration of the dual cameras as of now.Nubia N3
