In February, LG had launched the LG V30S ThinQ smartphone packed with plenty of AI features as the improved version of the LG V30S from last year. A fresh tweet from well-known tipster Evan Blass reveals that the upcoming LG G7 would actually hitting the market as LG G7 ThinQ. Also, LG has confirmed to South Korean media that its next flagship phone will be announced by the end of this month and it will be hitting the shelves by mid-May.

The addition of “ThinQ” to the moniker of the LG G7 indicates that it will carry support for various AI features such as AI Cam and QLens. AI Cam can identify the subject and recommend the best shooting mode from options like portrait, food, pet, landscape, city, flower, sunrise and sunset. QLens can scan QR codes, bar codes and it is also rumored to support real-time language translation.

Recent reports have revealed that the right edge of the phone will feature the Power key whereas the left edge of the phone will be housing volume rocker and another physical button. The latter may provide quick access to Google Assistant, QLens and QVoice.
