HMD Global had announced the Nokia 8110 4G, Nokia 1, Nokia 6 (2018), Nokia 7 Plus and Nokia 8 Sirocco smartphones at the Mobile World Congress (MWC) 2018 tech expo in February. The Finnish firm had organized an exclusive press conference in New Delhi to introduce the new Nokia phones in India. Except for the Nokia 8110 4G, all the aforementioned phones were launched in India today. Here is the information on the specs, features and pricing of the newly announced Nokia phones.

Nokia 1

Nokia 1, the first Android Go phone from the company, has been available in India from March 28 with a pricing of Rs. 5,499 (~$84). With Rs. 2,200 (~$33)cash back offer from Reliance Jio, the Nokia 1 can be availed for as low as Rs. 3,299 (~$50). The telecom operator is also providing 60 additional data for the buyers of Nokia 1.

Nokia 1 Indigo

The Nokia 1 has a 4.5-inch IPS LCD display that supports 480 x 850 pixels resolution. It is fueled by Media MT6737M chipset that is supported by 1 GB of RAM. It has an inbuilt storage of 8 GB and it also features a microSD cards lot. It has a rear camera of 8-megapixel and a frontal camera of 2-megapixel. It is driven by 2,150mAh battery.

Nokia 6 (2018)

Starting from April 6, the Nokia 6 (2018) will be available in India with a price tag of Rs. 16,999 (~$261)  for the 3 GB RAM variant. It can be availed in colors like Black/Copper, White/Iron and Blue/Gold.

India may receive the 4 GB RAM of the Nokia 6 (2018) in the coming months. It will be available through Nokia Mobile Shop as well as offline and online buying channels. Buyers can avail the Nokia 6 (2018) through special cash back offers. However, the company did not reveal more info them.

Nokia 6 2nd Gen

The Nokia 6 (2018) includes a 5.5-inch Full HD display. The Snapdragon 630 chipset and 3 GB of RAM are present under the hood of the phone. It receives power from 3,000mAh battery with fast charging support. It has a native storage of 32 GB and comes with a microSD card slot. It runs on Android 8.0 Oreo (Android One) and includes the Bothie camera feature that was introduced with Nokia 8 flagship phone last year. It has a dual-tone flash enabled 16-megapixel ZEISS lens with f/2.0 aperture at the rear and it houses a selfie camera of f/2.0 aperture 8-megapixel. The other features of the phone include 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 802.11ac, Bluetooth 5.0, GPS, USB Type-C, 3.5mm audio jack and fingerprint scanner.

Nokia 7 Plus

The Nokia 7 Plus pre-bookings will begin in India from April 20 and its sales will start from April 30. It will be available for buying through Amazon India, Nokia Mobile Shop and select outlets with a pricing of Rs. 25,999 (~$399). It can be bought in color choices such as Black/Copper and White/Copper. Without explaining in detail, the company confirmed that there will be special cash back offers for Nokia 7 Plus customers.

Nokia 7 Plus Renders

The Nokia 7 Plus that has arrived in India only supports single-SIM. It has an 18:9 aspect ratio screen of 6 inches. The IPS LCD display offers Full HD+ resolution of 2160 x 1080 pixels. The Snapdragon 660 chipset powers it with 4 GB of RAM. It has a 3,800mAh battery that comes with fast charging capabilities. The rear side features a dual camera module that houses a 12-megapixel wide-angel sensor with f/1.75 aperture and a 13-megapixel telephoto sensor. The dual cameras offer features like dual-tone LED flash, 2x optical zoom and Bothie feature. For snapping selfies, it has a fixed focus 16-megapixel camera with f/2.0 aperture. The other features of the phone include 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 802.11ac, Bluetooth 5.0, NFC, GPS, USB Type-C, 3.5mm audio jack and fingerprint scanner. It also runs on Android 8.0 Oreo (Android One).

Nokia 8 Sirocco

Nokia 8 Sirocco pre-bookings will start in India from April 20 and it will be exclusively available online through Flipkart. It will go on sale from April 30 with a price tag of Rs. 49,999 (~$767) It comes in a single color variant of Black. There are no details on the special cash back offers that will be available for purchasers of Nokia 8 Sirocco.

Nokia 8 Sirocco is an improved version of the Nokia 8 flagship from 2017. Like the Nokia 8, the newly announced Sirocco model is powered by Snapdragon 835 SoC. The chipset is assisted by 6 GB of RAM. The 3,260mAh battery enabled with fast charging is available on the phone. The Nokia 7 Plus features a QHD display of 5.5 inches that are curved at the edges. It also belongs to Android One program and it is preinstalled with Android 8.1 Oreo. It features the same dual camera setup that is available on the Nokia 7 Plus phone. It has a 5-megapixel fixed focus selfie snapper with f/2.0 aperture.
