If you are bored of MIUI installed on your Xiaomi device, there are two most important ways to customize the software: installing a launcher or installing a custom ROM. If you prefer the second option and you own a Xiaomi Redmi Note 5 Pro or a Mi Note 2, you will be glad to know that the two handsets have just received the official TWRP support.
TWRP is the most famous recovery mode which is mainly used to install custom ROMs on every Android handset. Starting from now, it is possible to flash it on Xiaomi Redmi Note 5 Pro and Xiaomi Mi Note 2 just like on the other supported Android devices. Besides Xiaomi Redmi Note 5 Pro and Xiaomi Mi Note 2, two more devices have just received the official support to TWRP.
The first is the newly-announced Sony Xperia XA2 which made its debut at CES 2018 in Las Vegas. The second is Verizon Wear24, a smartwatch which is available in the U.S. You can get the official TWRP app here or, at the following links, you can download the TWRP recovery mode for each of the four devices which have just received the official support:
