A Samsung device with model number SM-G8950 was seen on TENAA a few days ago. The phone has been dubbed the Galaxy S8 Lite and it will be launching later this month.

A leaker on Twitter (@MMDDJ_) has revealed that the phone will launch on May 21 at Jingdong’s (JD.com) headquarters. It is also reported that the phone will be exclusive to the online retailer.

In a follow-up tweet, he also posted official promo images of the phone which reveal the device will come in red and black variants.

Design-wise, this is practically a smaller version of the Galaxy S8/S8+. The fingerprint scanner is still in the same awkward position as its bigger siblings and it has a single rear camera. Though we’ll admit the red version looks gorgeous.
