Huawei P20 and P20 Pro were the first smartphones to launch with a glass backplate boasting gradient colors. One of the gradient hues launched is Aurora, which appears as a special combo of purple and green. The colors change depending on how the light reflects on the elegant glass back, and the Aurora gradient color is making the latest Huawei flagships literally iconic in terms of aesthetics.
But until now the Aurora color was only available with the Huawei P20 Pro. Now, the company has decided to launch even the less expensive Huawei P20 in the Aurora gradient color. The new color variant has been launched in China with a price tag of 4288 Yuan ($675). Sales officially started at 10:00 local time this morning. Huawei P20 Aurora is only available in its most powerful configuration with 6 GB of RAM and 128 GB of internal storage, but it still remains cheaper than Huawei P20 Pro which costs 4999 Yuan ($786).
Among the main differences between Huawei P20 and P20 Pro, there is a smaller display (5.8 inches) and a smaller battery (3400 mAh). The standard P20 ditches the triple camera setup, it has a 20 + 12 MP dual camera with a secondary B/W sensor and 2x lossless zoom.
