Ahead of the release of the Mi 8 (and Mi 8 SE) tomorrow, Xiaomi’s CEO Lei Jun has released camera samples of the phone. The photos are of the same location (probably Beijing Skyline) but at different times of the day.
The first photo was taken during the day and highlights the HDR feature of the camera. The second was taken at sunset and the third which was taken at night shows us how the camera fares in low-light.
The Xiaomi Mi 8 will come with dual rear cameras and is reported to be Xiaomi’s best camera phone to date. A hands-on review will confirm if that statement is true. The cameras will have AI features that will help improve performance and fine-tune settings for the best results.
According to leaked specs, one of the rear cameras is a 20MP sensor. The second sensor is unknown. Other features we presume the camera setup will have include optical zoom and optical image stabilization.
