Huawei’s Honor sub-brand has an event scheduled for June 6 and on that day it is expected to release a game-changing phone called the Honor Play. There are have been rumors on what features to expect but we haven’t heard anything about the pricing until now.

A photo has surfaced on the web and it shows a hand-drawn poster in a Chinese gadget store. From the poster, we can make out the name – Honor Play,  the launch date which is June 6, and a price tag – ¥3299 (~$514).

Honor Play price

While we advise that you take the above price with a grain of salt, it actually isn’t outrageous. Most affordable flagship phones are priced around that range.

There is still a lot we do not know about the Honor Play but we can agree that its price tag does seem reasonable for a flagship phone. Sadly, we don’t see it coming with a more powerful chipset other than the Kirin 970.
