On Wednesday, Huawei’s Honor sub-brand will announce a new phone called the Honor Play. However, that won’t be the only device launching. It will also announce the Honor 9i (2018) and apparently, a new xSport wireless earphones.
The manufacturer released a new teaser poster ahead of Wednesday’s event that hints at a new model of the xSport wireless with a key new feature – heart rate monitoring.
The original xSport wireless earphones was launched in February 2017 for ¥299 (~$) and it doesn’t do more than what other Bluetooth earphones in the market currently offer. However, with the new model, you should be able to track your heart rate in real time while working out.
The first-gen model is currently available for ¥229. Honor says the price slash is a limited time deal that expires today. So there is a chance the new xSport earphones will sell for much higher than ¥299.
