Before Huawei announced the P20 and P20 Pro, its camera champ was the Huawei Mate 10 Pro. The 2017 flagship actually shares a number of features including its processor with the more recent P20 series.
After launching in Europe and Asia last year, Huawei announced the Mate 10 Pro in the US in January for $799. It was even supposed to be available through carriers (AT&T) but the deal was canceled at the last minute due to security concerns raised by US intelligence. Nevertheless, the phone is still being sold unlocked on Amazon and eBay.
If you didn’t buy it when it launched, now may be a great time to grab one of the best smartphones in the market. Amazon is currently selling the Mate 10 Pro with 6GB of RAM and 128GB of storage for just $428.68. Yes, you read that right.
The Mocha Brown Huawei Mate 10 Pro is currently on sale for the above price. If you don’t like that color, you can grab the Midnight Blue or Titanium Gray for $549.99.
The Huawei Mate 10 Pro has a 6-inch FHD+ screen with HDR10. It is powered by the Kirin 970 which has a dedicated NPU for AI tasks. Its LEICA branded rear cameras are a 12MP RGB sensor and a 20MP monochrome sensor. It also has an 8MP front-facing camera.
The Mate 10 Pro is also IP67 waterproof, packs a 4000mAh battery with Huawei’s SuperCharge fast charge technology, and has a rear-mounted fingerprint scanner. It runs EMUI 8.0 based on Android 8.0 Oreo.
Do hurry if you are interested, we don’t know how long the price will remain so or if it won’t run out of stock.
Update: The Mocha Brown is now $729 but the Midnight Blue and Titanium Gray are still available for $549.99.
