The Galaxy Note 9 is the next anticipated flagship device from Samsung. The device is expected to arrive in August and bring along some new features. Apart from upgraded cameras, a more powerful chipset, and a new position for the fingerprint scanner, there are rumors that the device may be underwhelming. Nevertheless, new info has surfaced about another key feature.
According to leaker @UniverseIce, the Galaxy Note 9 will be coming with a much larger battery than its predecessor. In his tweet, he revealed the Note 9 will pack a 4,000mAh battery. This is a significant bump when compared to the 3,300mAh battery of the Galaxy Note8.

The Galaxy Note 9 is said to have a slightly larger 6.4-inch display but that should not have a noticeable effect on battery life if the capacity remained 3300mAh. Nevertheless, it sure is good news for fans of the Note series to know they will be able to get more screen time from the Note 9.

Samsung will release the Galaxy Note 9 in two variants. One will be powered by the Snapdragon 845 and the other will come with an Exynos 9810 SoC. Both variants have already appeared on Geekbench.
