Alongside the Redmi Pro 6 launching on June 25, Xiaomi will also announce a new tablet – the Mi Pad 4. While there have been leaks covering its specs and price in the last few days, Xiaomi has decided to confirm some of these features.
There are arguments for and against 16:10 aspect ratio, one advantage the aspect ratio has is it is great for gaming and watching movies while 4:3 is great for reading and web browsing.
With the Mi Pad 4 packing a Snapdragon 660 processor and rumored to have a gaming mode, it makes sense as to why they are switching to 16:10. With that aspect ratio, we expect the tablet to have a 1920 x 1200 aspect ratio like some of Samsung’s tablets.
The Mi Pad 4 is said to come in two variants – a Wi-Fi only model with 4GB of RAM and 64GB storage and an LTE model with 6GB of RAM and 128GB of storage. Both models are priced at ¥1499 (~$230) and ¥199 (~$308) respectively.
