Nubia is pushing out an update to 2016’s Z11 mini S. The new update which comes as Nubia UI 3.09 brings a ton of new visual changes, new features, and bug fixes. Sadly, it doesn’t update the Android version.
Some of the new features include new animations for missed calls; adaptive weather icons; animations for background file transfer and recording, along with notifications when completed; and a new icon for roaming. Nubia has also changed the position of the alarm clock and signal icons.
The update also brings a game mode which restricts notifications and pop-ups from interrupting the user and also increases performance. It also blocks edge gestures, one-touch fingerprint screenshot, and split-screen function.

Some users who have updated their devices have complained about some missing features such as the power saving mode. One user also says power consumption of the screen is higher than normal.
