The Mi Max 3 has been in the news a lot in recent weeks. There have been lots of leaks covering specs and live photos. What we have not heard much of is a launch date and that may change tomorrow.
A new teaser by the official Xiaomi Weibo account hints at Xiaomi announcing the release date for the Mi Max 3 tomorrow. The teaser shows a white silhouette of a phone we believe is the Mi Max 3. Written on the screen area is a text that roughly translates into “Big screen mobile phone is ………?”
There is also another text at the bottom that translates into an announcement tomorrow morning. And the image’s caption says “a good news will be shared tomorrow morning“.
The Mi Max 3 comes a little over a year after its predecessor. It will have a larger 6.99-inch display but with an 18:9 aspect ratio. This should make it easier to hold. It will come with a Snapdragon 636 processor, up to 6GB of RAM and 128GB of storage.
It will also come with dual rear cameras – a first for the series, a rear-mounted fingerprint scanner, and a 5400mAh battery. Pre-installed on the device is Android 8.1 Oreo with MIUI on top.
