In a recent trademark filing, part of the devices OnePlus listed the trademark would cover is a wireless charger. OnePlus at the moment doesn’t have a phone that supports wireless charging but apparently, it has been testing the technology.

In a recent interview, Pete Lau, CEO of OnePlus, disclosed that they have been testing wireless charging technology and will continue to do so. All of the above explains why the OnePlus 6 and its predecessors don’t have wireless charging. We also do not see the technology coming with the next OnePlus phone.

The OnePlus 6 is the latest smartphone from the manufacturer. It has a glass body that houses a Snapdragon 835 processor, up to 8GB of RAM, and 256GB of storage. Up in front is a 6.28-inch screen with a notch and a 2280 x 1080 resolution.
