We reported the appearance of the Meizu 16 models’ appearance on China’s Telecom’s regulatory agency TENAA’s website a couple of days back. The Meizu 16 and 16 Plus were certified by TENAA and with the certification came the real photos and main specifications of the models. What we didn’t spot on the specs table was the presence of on-screen fingerprint sensors on both models. Meizu 16 Official Render

Meizu had earlier released a sketch on the Meizu forum which hinted at the presence of an on-screen fingerprint sensor on the Meizu 16 and 16 Plus. As part of the TENAA listing for both models, is the presence of the regular fingerprint sensor and a second fingerprint recognition technology on the screen. We’ll have to wait until the models are launched to get the full details of the fingerprint technology at play.Meizu 16 on-screen fingerprint sensor
