The OPPO F9 Pro is one of two new OPPO phones expected to launch soon. Thanks to teaser posters and leaked images, we know OPPO has redesigned the notch (and screen). It has even named it “Waterdrop Screen” based on the shape of the notch.

Today, specs said to be that of the OPPO F9 Pro have surfaced online. There is no way to confirm they are genuine, so we advise you take them with a pinch of salt.

The F9 Pro is said to pack a 6.3-inch IPS LCD display with a 2280 x 1080 display and Gorilla Glass. That resolution translates into a 19:9 aspect ratio. For the processor, OPPO is going with MediaTek’s Helio P60 chipset and have paired it with 6GB of RAM.

The source says the phone will come with 128GB of storage and will support expansion by up to an additional 256GB. With respect to cameras, the OPPO F9 Pro will come with a 25MP selfie camera and dual 16MP cameras on its back.

The OPPO F9 Pro will run Android 8.0 Oreo, have dual-SIM support, a fingerprint scanner, and support for VoLTE and Indian 4G bands. It will also pack a 3400mAh battery. An official teaser already confirmed it will have support for VOOC fast charging.

The OPPO F9 and F9 Pro should launch soon and one of the confirmed markets it will be available in is Malaysia. There is no info on the price at the moment.
