OPPO F9 and F9 Pro are the upcoming Selfie Expert smartphones from the Chinese manufacturer. The company has been teasing the arrival of F9 Pro in India whereas the F9 is heading to markets like Vietnam, Indonesia and Malaysia. The recent teasers from the company have revealed some key information on the upcoming F9 series. A new teaser reveals that the F9 will be go official in Vietnam on Aug. 15.
It is quite evident from the recent teasers that the OPPO F9 and F9 Pro will be arriving with a valley notch. It is nothing but a smaller notch compared to other notch enabled OPPO phones. The redesigned display is dubbed as water droplet screen by the company. A new teaser has revealed that the notch of the smartphone will be featuring a 25-megapixel AI driven selfie snapper with Sensor HDR for capturing flawless and bright selfies.
Other teasers have revealed that the F9 duo will be available in colors like Sunrise Red and Twilight Blue. A leaked hands-on shot of the red variant has appeared to reveal its beautiful rear panel that features an attractive diamond-like pattern.
Through the other teasers it has been known that the F9 and F9 Pro will be equipped with VOOC charging that promises 2 hours of battery life through 5 minutes of charging. OPPO is usually known for offering VOOC charging on its R series of smartphones that are launched in China. However, F9 Pro would be the first F series to feature OPPO’s fast charging technology.

Rumors have it that the OPPO F9 Pro will be arriving with a 6.3-inch IPS LCD screen that will support FHD+ resolution of 2280 x 1080 pixels. The screen will be shielded by Gorilla Glass layer. The MediaTek Helio P60 will be powering the smartphone with 6 GB of RAM. It will be arriving with a native storage of 128 GB and it will also feature a microSD card slot. The back panel of the features a fingerprint scanner and a pair of 16-megapixel cameras. The handset is expected to receive power from a 3,400mAh battery.

There is no information on the specifications of the OPPO F9. The F9 Pro is expected to be priced nearly Rs. 30,000 (~$438) in India.
