Some OnePlus 6 users are facing an issue with their displays. The complaint is that the display flickers under bright light. The flickering occurs when adaptive brightness is turned on.
Since the complaints started showing up online OnePlus has been collecting data from users. On Friday, it announced that an update that will fix the issue will begin to roll out to users soon.
The fix will most likely be bundled along with August’s security patch which should arrive soon. No phone has received this month’s security patch yet.
