Xiaomi sure knows how to take on the competition. The Chinese tech giant is set to battle for the leadership of the television market in Indonesia with the likes of Samsung, LG, Panasonic and others. The affordable Mi TV 4A 32-inch model is the company’s first smart TV to go official in Indonesia. The price of the cheap Mi TV 4A gets even cheaper in Indonesia where it is priced way cheaper than the 32-inch models by other competing brands. The Xiaomi Mi TV 4A (32 inches) uses a plastic housing with its entire body coming in black colour. As a result of the plastic body in use, the new Mi TV 4A comes with a highly reduced weight which is just 3.9Kg, making it suitable to be easily carried around. When the base is attached to the TV frame, the weight goes up to 3.94Kg.

On the specifications, the Mi TV 4A features a 32-inch display with a rather disappointing resolution of 1,366 x 768 pixels and refresh rate of 60Hz. The TV has a viewing angle of 178 degrees. It is powered by a Quad-core 1.5GHz processor having four Cortex-A53 cores. The graphic is powered by a Mali-450 MP3 GPU while the processor is supported by 1GB of RAM and there is 4GB of storage space available inside. The Mi TV 4A (32) also comes with two 5W stereo speakers while available interface includes two HDMI, an AV port, an S/PDIF output, DTMB, USB port and a connector. As for the price, the Mi TV 4A 32-inch comes in at Rp. 1,999,000 which is about $134. You’ll agree this is an amazing price tag. It is even cheaper than the 1,099 yuan ($163) price tag with which it was unveiled in China last year. The smart TV will go on pre-order on Lazada on September 6 while open sales will commence on September 20 via Mi.com while offline sales on Mi authorized stores across Indonesia will commence on September 29.

Xiaomi Redmi 6 and Redmi 6A

Xiaomi Redmi 6 and Redmi 6A comes with their specs unchanged from the China version. The Redmi 6 and 6A phones feature 5.45-inch IPS LCD display that produces 18:9 aspect ratio and HD+ resolution of 720 x 1440 pixels. The Redmi 6 is powered by an Helio P22 chipset whereas the Redmi 6A packs a less powerful Helio A22. The Redmi 6A smartphone has 2 GB of RAM and an internal storage of 16 GB. On the other side, the Redmi 6 comes in two models such as 3 GB of RAM and 32 GB of inbuilt storage and 4 GB of RAM and 64 GB of native storage.Xiaomi Redmi 6A

The Redmi 6 has a dual camera setup at the consisting of a 12-megapixel main sensor and a 5-megapixel secondary sensor while there is a 5-megapixel selfie camera. On the other hand, the Redmi 6A packs a 13-megapixel rear camera and a front snapper of 5-megapixel. For colour availability, both models are available in black, gold and blue.

As for the prices, the Redmi 6A with 2 GB RAM and 16 GB storage is priced at IDR 1,249 million (~$83) and will go on sale on September 10 via blibli.com and Mi Store. As for the Redmi 6, it is priced at Rp 1.9 million ($127) for the 3 GB RAM + 32 GB storage version. The 4GB + 64Gb version is priced at Rp 2.4 million ($160). The Redmi 6 will go on sale on September 6 at e-commerce Lazada and Mi Store.
